You could feel the growth the members have had since the beginning, it's amazing to watch. Especially Sana, Nayeon and Tzuyu in terms of growth. As far as ACE is concerned, imo it has to be Jihyo - Best vocal by far, Best stage presence for sure, 2nd best best dancer of the group after Momo (the growth is crazy). She writes, she composes plus being the leader. The woman has everything lol.
Sana is probably one of the top female dancer in Kpop 100% I think it would be pretty easy to pick Jihyo as well, she has grown a lot! she really did probably have the most growth in a lot of sense
Their lives really do make all the difference. Twice is the prime example of a group I wouldn't really listen to if not for the members themselves. I have a few groups like this. The songs are fun and catchy and some are even truly great songs but if I was just playing them in the background I'd probably move on after a few songs. I am absolutely someone who would consider their music a bit same-y and wasn't blown away by the new album. But to watch them live, they are so freaking charming and charismatic and have such a range of personalities, they are a delight to watch! Jihyo was on fire and Sana and Tzuyu could not be more adorable. Poor Nayeon though, I felt like her mic was covering her face the whole time. 😅Jeongyeon doing the fan chants, she really is the biggest Once out there. And shout out to Dingo for finally giving every member of a bigger group a mic!!!!
I think I kind of agree with that, but I think interestingly enough when they have like a very distinct song, its way miles and leagues better, I point this out every time but Cry for me is such a masterpiece, I think its so much better than most groups best songs haha Nayeon she too dang short! poor thing! Jeongyeon, she's just the best hype machine ever too!I think it is crazy to see line distribution live like this, Tyuzu and Nayeon actually had way more to do with their music than I thought and Mina started like nearly every song
@@Killdeer25 As far as line distribution, I think Twice follows the classic kpop assigned roles/line distribution. Lead vocals get the most difficult/standout parts but the center, which Nayeon is on top of being lead vocal, gets a lot of parts too. Because the center is literally in the center of group choreo, they have the camera on them the most frequently during performances and so they have a lot of parts. These assigned roles and parts seem to have been a lot more rigid in the past but I think these days are becoming less prevalent in newer generations, say TXT for example. No set lead vocalist or center or main dancer, they all just do whatever suits the song best.
You're right about boosting their vocals more. I noticed that this hit a bit diff than their other performances. 9 Queens, 9 visuals, 9 vocals...9 Aces. I absolutely love Twice. And I came from a rock pop metal background before finding kpop. Great reaction 🤟
Went back and watched the first mission of Sixteen to put things in perspective. Didn't really know them well back when I watched it before. Initially only Nayeon and Somi were immediately recognizable to me, but it gradually came back. Quite a bit I didn't remember from those days.
I think thats whats crazy about time after awhile its almost impossible to remember everything, especially with a group so storied and large in membership too
In my opinion, Dahyun is the ace of Twice. She can sing, rap, dance, writes songs, plays instruments, basically there is nothing that she can't do. Nayeon is the face of the group and in the center the most.
