Metal Vocalist - TXT Run Away ( REACTION ) 

Ages range from 20-23. I enjoy how different they are and their videos are top tier, very story driven.

TXT is so hard cause they have a whole ass universe you have to start from Nap of a star to start understanding, but basically TXT goes to this magic island (some people believe is digital like in a game or it's just a parallel place on the real world) to escape reality. In Nap of a star MV you see them meeting as kids and making a promise to a star to always stay together but as they grow being together is getting more and more difficult, they fight, have their own problems and it seems they forgot about the promise. Each member has a growing pain (also seen in Nap of a star) which could simbolize how growing up and accepting your flaws can be difficult and hurtful (to yourself and to your friends). But TXT keeps escaping reality, they keep running away instead of coming together to accept reality and understand each other. This has a price though, in Frost MV you see that the real world is getting affected by them messing around in the magic island and at this point in the storyline the boys are going quite delusional and are getting more and more separated. They have to remember the promise they made together to the star but growing up is tough and friendships are complicated. Each member seems to have some grudge or is hiding something from the others. They went from teenagers who were happy escaping reality together to young adults who don't know how to face reality. They newest MV for Good boy gone bad (the Japanese version) is the last point of their story so far. Their story is a lot more than just this but it's a lot to get into. There are channels out there that explain some groups stories and create theories (Laina Sunflower is the queen tho, she knows it all when it comes to TXT lol). But I guess that's the basics of their story so far. My favorite song from them is Blue Hour and Run Away. I don't know, I wish I could just run away to a magic place too, life is so tough sometimes.

I’m glad you’re continuing to react to TxT and enjoying their music. TxT’s discography is very diverse and I would call it a no skip listen, even their Japanese and various OSTs are great. They are the only other group under BigHit Music Labels, not just HYBE corporation, which makes them special as well. Runaway (Waiting for you on platform 9 and 3/4 - Korean title, yes a Harry Potter reference) is their second comeback from 2019. The members of TxT were born from 1999-2002, so 3 of the members were still in High School during this time. When you were watching BTS’ MAMA performance, the camera showed the 2 older members because the younger members had to leave before the end. They have curfews for idols underage in Korea and they cannot stay at shows or be a part of their lives after a certain time. They are now all in their 20s and of legal age in Korea. To help with their voices question. TXT at first is hard to get to know their voices cause they are almost like a perfect 1 step up the scale from each other with Beomgyu the lowest, then Soobin, Yeonjun, huening Kai and Taehyun the highest. Once you get used to their unique tones you can total tell who’s who, but it does take a moment. And On top of that, they tend to switch singers mid line. Which I personally think is so cool and dynamic. Most groups (Kpop and western) I feel tend to chop up songs so each singer can get a “highlight” section. But they mix and blend, switch parts, layer, etc.

TXT debuted in March of 2019 (their fandom is called MOA). Their ages range from 20-23. Soobin is the leader and the 2nd oldest (born 12/00). Yeonjun is the oldest (born 9/99) & he grew up in the U.S. Kai is the youngest or the Maknae (born 8/02) and he is Korean-American, from Hawaii. Beomgyu was born in 03/01 & Taehyun was born in 02/02. Most of them speak English very well. I tend to want to know the biographies of members as I’m getting to know them. I took notice because they are a BigHit group & I want to support BigHit, as well as Hybe. TXT really impressed me when they performed at Lollapalooza the day before JHope did. I’m still getting to know their music, so I’ll be following along with you, John. I really like this group.👍🏼

Their music videos have a continuous theories and they are exciting. LET me recommend some of my favorite txt songs OPENING SEQUENCE, PUMA,FROST,20CM,ANTI-ROMANTIC

From my understanding, BTS' directive from Bang Si-Hyuk was to tell their stories from their perspective. As such, many of their songs were written by Rap Monster[RM]/SUGA. Tomorrow X Together is almost entirely from the mind of Bang Si-Hyuk himself - he reads a lot and had a full universe crafted specifically for this group. The five members that were selected to realize this vision were trained for literally years and it was not a given that they would debut. Big Hit, at the time, was going through its own ups and downs, but TXT finally debuted in 2019 - the youngest members were 16, the oldest 20. The members are incredibly gifted individually but the real talent is their chemistry as a group. Their discography is worth delving into. From the perspective of a non-MOA (which is you), looking at their early work, you would see young TXT first entering the KPOP industry. But from my perspective, seeing them wrap up their first tour (ACT: LOVESICK) post-COVID, they are professionals with a very bright future ahead of them. I definitely agree with the pop punk feel to this song, I think it has a similar progression and build up in the chorus that you would typically hear in that genre. I think that's why I enjoy it so much!! It's also so so catchy - I have heard this song SO many times and it never gets old. And yes, txt music video concepts are amazing. Also love the 9 and 3/4 Harry Potter reference in the title which is then hinted at again with the glasses he puts on in the mv.

yes i love TXT they have a great song which my kids play on repeat and that is MAGIC.

Some of their producers and writters are the same with BTS for example: Hitman bang, slow rabbit, pdogg. But TXT participated in their music too and work with many others. They have a fictional universe +U (txt universe) it includes MVs, webtoon (the star seekers) and an animated video. I recomend you to react a guide by beomie bear to know more about them as a group and individually, is the best guide for TXT. PD (I'm learning English, I can understand but when I'm writting I can't express my ideas very well)

TXT has their own story line that is tenuously connected to the BU. Originally, it was just called the TXT U but now they're called the Star Seekers. Also, their early videos in the TXT U have morse code in them. Many of their songs reference the typical problems teens have while growing up. Literal growing pains, people that were once your closest friends growing apart, feeling different and isolated from everyone else, etc. BTS' music when they first debuted was more about teenagers relating to the rest of the world, parents, authority figures, societal expectations, etc. TXT's music focuses more on individual struggles and the challenges of going from a teenager to an adult. Like BTS, their songs and videos have those meanings on top of the ones related to their story line. They also have a webtoon, The Star Seekers. They were also at Lollapalooza, the day before J-Hope.

Thanks for reacting to TxT! I've been an ARMY for 5 yrs and I've gotten into TXT recently. Can't get enough of their music. Each of them is a vocal and dancer. They can do all genre and have very sharp choreos. They are funny comedians too.

I'm a 51 yr old TXT fan (mom of two girls who have been Kpop fans for at least 7 years) and I don't have a clue about the storylines or deep meanings of any of the TXT videos, I just enjoy the music. They were also fantastic in concert. Check out Loser-Lover and someone had the theory that the Thursday's Child album song order was in the order of the five stages of grief which interested me if that's true

There is a really wonderful guide but it is pretty long but the shorter ones aren’t very good. Their videos are story driven and probably should be started at the beginning. Their early work is much more pop than the current work. They are quite good at spanning genres. Something BH and producers have not shied away from. I know they have worked with Supreme Boi and Slow Rabbit at BH but also outside songwriters and producers as well. Some members also contribute to their work. I’ve followed since debut. They are amazing and I love them.

Simple explanation of TXT story both musically and video-wise: They are telling a story about a group of boys, magic, multiverses, and saving the world. Meanwhile, they are also telling their actual real life story of growth in their journey from young boys to men and their career as idols. So their real story is mixed in with the fantasy. The entire story tells the journey of growth through a magical world-traversing peter-pan/harry potter/matrix-esque lens -- including the psychology behind that and all the relatable ups and downs of youth.

So there is definitely a story with them. Their story started with the debut song crown. If you watch their debut showcase for crown there is a story bit right before their performance where it tells the beginning of their storyline (plus it is explained in English!). A lot of their song have a upbeat feel to it but if you read the lyrics are super sad and slightly depressing. Also I had the same problem with their voices because at first they either all blended together or in MV it is a bit harder to tell who is actually singing. For me, watching a live version of them singing helped. For instance if you watch crown, than I would suggest also watching their live version they did on one take. Where they don’t dance but it’s all about the vocals so they stand in front of a mic.

Lo$er = Lover is another great song that goes with 0X1= Lovesong and their new song Good Boy Gone Bad also goes with it but the Japanese video matches better with the other two videos. They also have one English only song called Magic which has an interesting video.

This group is good also they are my 2nd group so far but bts is 1 to me I like good boy gone bad.
