I came back to the place where I have found the beautiful dagger, later identified as an off-hand Thirty years' war weapon, after more than a month, to continue my #metaldetecting journey.
Because of the fact, that I managed to pick up a lot of artefacts from this era, the choice wasn't really there - I had to come back. Though, I did not find such mind-blowing items like the last time, I managed to slowly uncover some human activity traces along the way. I tried to listen to your feedback and comments and incorporated more footage of digging and detector IDs into my clips. Hopefully, this will lead to a better viewer experience in the upcoming videos.
I consult my finds with an archaeologist and hand over the finds for research and documenting. I had only good experience working with the experts in their fields and recommend cooperating with archaeological institutions to every metal detectorist out there.
If you're interested in the gear I use in my videos, you can check the list in the ABOUT section of my channel. I plan on releasing some metal detector testing videos in the future.
Thanks for watching and see you again!
