I am amazed by the GD Creators once again. This Level is absolutely gorgeous while being an Epilepsy Level, wich is insanely hard to pull off. This is definitely my Favorite GD Art Level in Terms of being Art. Decoration is something different, this is just insane.
Just beat this few minutes ago, the difficulty is around easy extreme, it gets consistent once you learn all the clicks, and it turns out to be very fun. But the process of learning the level can be hard, so I do believe this is an extreme demon. Also, when you play the level, you need to remember that this level was built to be more of an art piece than a level. Actually, according to excellentboy567 himself, this is an anti-player level.
1:47 "To be honest, I don't think Geometry Dash's art criticism works. Not like music or painting, people cannot make or experience Geomtery Dash levels before 2014. This makes art criticism in Geometry Dash always subjective because the fundamental aesthetic system in Geometry Dash is imperfect and incomplete, This caused many problem. For example, people can at least understand extreme experimental musics, but when a level is not designed to give you fun gameplay experience, you may automatically hate it" I think this level is a take on the whole state of "arts" in GD, we always gave out subjectivity towards a level just because it's intended design is made with an experimental gameplay/experimental arts/experimental musics
Dude I LOVEEEEE These Type Of Fucking Levels, They're Always So EXTREMELY Synced To The Song, They Fit The Songs Perfectly It's Crazy, No Matter How Weird Or Abstract The Song Is, The Levels Manage To Incapsulate Them Perfectly, Love It.
Here is how I interpreted this level: (Warning: It's a bummer) I think this level represents a succumbing to some kind of unnatural mental darkness, like a disease. There are powerful feelings of hopelessness and oppression, and a constant feeling of being overwhelmed. This is evidenced by the incoherent sentences, the flashing lights, the static mini wave section and the general aesthetic. The line "Maybe I am sick already" shows a sense of denial and the following lines "I gave up to pursue..." depict a kind of acceptance and a feeling of powerlessness. Perhaps even the flashing images of cities and landscapes could be corrupted memories. Clearly whatever this darkness it is, it is not natural. At first, I thought it may be supernatural, which could be evidenced by the strange symbols in the middle, but this theory does not gel with the glitchy aesthetic of the level. Me personally? I think this level represents the mind of someone whose brain has been tampered by technology. We see corrupt memories, static, glitches, autocompleted text, even what looks like a loading symbol during the static section. Throughout the level, the patient gradually accepts that there is nothing they can do to repair their fractured mind, and gives up pursuing... something else. (It's not clear what.) The ending could be a kind of terminal lucidity, where the patient can see clearly for a brief moment, but there is still corruption present. What happens after is left up to interpretation. Overall, I think this level depicts the primal fear of having our minds tampered with, and the deep feeling of tragedy we all have felt regarding the rise of technology. Certainly, a masterpiece.
the word metalepsis refers to a figure of speech that is used in a different way / put in a different context, which gives me the idea that maybe the beginning landscapes are fake realities/memories being replaced by newer and newer fake realities or memories

When creating artistic levels it seems like creators eliminate one of two things, Gameplay or Enjoyment and its almost impossible to include both which is why the art criticism doesnt work. This person purposely made the gameplay bad to prove a point
maybe not the song cause of the 'drop'-if you could call it that, but these are extremely interesting visuals. the style is nice, perhaps a bit overdone or unvaried on the intense parts, but still very well executed. i like this level
also I think it’s just cool that this is art specifically about the limitations of what it’s made in, its like it’s trying to break out idk. there’s a lot of cool analysis you could do about this idk
