It's their first song released with this new BM reborn and formation. We heard it before the release because they premiere this at Apocrypha - Another One show, and someone leaked this on a fancam, it was fun and really unexpected but everyone was having a blast and even started with a Kami Band solo after a while without it. The song title is Metali!! (metal + matsuri, which is a Japanese festival) and you can hear it in the spoken section when one of them (MomoMetal) is doing the Kabuki moves style. Just so you know "wasshoi" is another shout used in Japanese festival when men are carrying the shrine, similar to sore and soya you can hear in Megitsune and Karate. I can totally see why they pick Tom Morello on this and pretty sure got nothing to do with political stuff, the groove, the catchiness, the super energetic jump and those typical 90's vibes at funk or alternative metal live concerts, he did an amazing complex solo guitar overall. If you think the cultural festival chant "wasshoi" and "sore" are rip off - I could also say that song is a rip off from Megitsune - which was released like 10 years ago. Musically there's nothing else similar between them
LMFAO!! OMG! someone does a song with lots of very common chants and now Babymetal is doing it! Did you know they also encourage chants like 'HEY HEY HEY!!" And they have mosh pits and circle pits too. All a huge rip off because other songs have those things too. Try a little harder next time. :)
My man thinks that Misora Hibari invented Japanese festival chants and songs. You can be a babymetal hater as much as you want but try to come up with points that make even a little bit of sense.
