Please react to BTS Contribution to Music BTS From Nobody to Legends 2019 BTS Crash Course 2020 History and Music who is BTS The seven member of Bangtan
Just so you know: when people talk about the success of kpop specially in usa they usually mean BTS. non of the other acts come close sale wise or relevance wise
A lot of people would get mad if they read your comment... but I agree 😂 like it or not, people have to recognize the fact that BTS are the ones paving the way for K-pop groups to have a fighting chance internationally. They are the ones breaking down walls and going through all the hard “firsts” so that Global audiences are more likely to give others a chance as well.
Big bang had sell out concerts in the usa years before anyone knew who bts were. and there are plenty of groups with songs in the millions of likes even bp have a billion like song. Yes bts are breaking records, yes they are the most well known but plenty of kpop groups are and have been doing north american tours.
@@annaboivin9209 Yup, Big Bang sold out arenas, not stadiums 😊 And BP have a video with a billion views but they have fewer videos in total due to the lack of content so all the streams are more concentrated 😊 Girl tbh I hate to compare and I don't wanna get involved in fanwars, but some K-pop fans are in denial and can be super disrespectful when it comes to BTS achievements and it doesn't sit right with me.
One of my first ever concerts (and favourite) was slipknot and system of a down in 2005 when I was 14 years old and somehow I ended up here in 2020 a hardcore BTS ARMY fan watching a metal head react to bts 💜 life is great ha ha
@@MadAng66 The only poster that survived my teenage years and twenties, is the Disturbed Indestructible poster.. It's still up and it won't get taken down anytime soon.. They will always be one of my favorites.. 🤘
Great reaction. I think you would like their song "blood, sweat and tears" it is based on the book Damien by Herman Hesse on the temptations of youth the mv has this classy style.
The first two BTS members started as underground rappers, which gives them their baseline grit. If you want to see a recent MV from one of them, check out Daechwita by Agust D (Suga). He's the guy who rapped in the photo room and dropped the mic at the end. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qGjAWJ2zWWI.html Daechwita is about his inner battle as the guy on top (a tyrannical king) and the guy he is at his core (the struggling rapper on the ground). His BTS stage name is Suga, and he has won awards for his music production for other artists. Thanks for giving these guys a chance! They are incredibly versatile, as well as amazing human beings (they spoke at the United Nations and did a UNICEF campaign to end youth violence).
@@MadAng66 Other than Daechwita, you might be interested in their live performances. Here is Dionysus. (Skip to 3:00 to jump past some filler and into the performance). ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lFMXk0L4kG8.html
RM and Suga have been rapping for over 15 years so any American rapper people compare them to have not been around as long..They formed in 2010 and debuted in 2013
Thanks for the reaction, just wanted to say that if you react to BTS from their label's channel "Bighit Labels " you're not going to get a copyright strick, however, the video will be claimed if monetized. For more song recommendations i have a few with diverse genres and you can pick whichever you feel you want to hear: RM - Joke (pure rap, no chorus, insane flow switchups and hard beat) p.s. look for the video with eng subtitles, the original music video doesn't have them. BTS - Dionysus (no mv but there are quite a few live performances or listen to the audio on Bangtantv channel with lyrics from doolsetbangtan website for accurate translation) please avoid lyric videos as they are inaccurate 99.9% of the time. BTS - Louder than Bombs (completely different style from them but awesome production, raps and vocals... it also has no mv but same rule applies regarding audio videos and eng translations as above) BTS - The Truth Untold (this a more emotional song with only the 4 singers on the track, there is a live performance with eng subtitles on the screen not cc and it's pretty good) - Outro : Tear (only the 3 rappers are on this track and they deliver impeccably with the flow, passion and performance when they do it live, there is also a version with lyrics on the screen that is pretty good) I'll stop here for now, but if you want more suggestions let us know and you'll find so much diversity, talent and depth in BTS lyrics you wouldn't imagine.. which is why they are loved and admired by millions all over the world from 10 till 70 year olds, all genders, all backgrounds... no exaggeration.
Thank you so much for all the insight, I really appreciate it! I have a new video coming out tomorrow reacting to dna, I hope you subscribe and check it out
@@MadAng66 i'm looking forward to watch the new video, will keep an eye on the channel when it drops. Also, i hope you don't take this the wrong way, but many reactors have been using bts and army (bts fans) for views with over exaggerated or even fake reactions to just "please" us.. we don't appreciate that at all, we admire honesty and other opinions as long as it's not offensive or insulting. There is nothing wrong if some music is not appealing to someone, we completely understand that. So because of seeing this too many times, i usually hold on a few videos before i subscribe to any channel. Keep being your genuine self and army will find you and support you ✌
@@nancyhennes Yesss Do not be afraid to be analytical and critical. BTS fanbase are one of the most intelligient out there and there is a market for HONEST and thoughtful reviews of their endless catalogue. If you like lyrics, meaning, philosophy, and societal commentary, you will appreciate BTS, even if you wouldn't initially like all of their music. Also, part of their appeal is themselves, as artists, producers, entertainers. They have some really well-made (fan made) documentary style videos out there that others have already suggested. They are brutally honest and vulnerable, something rare in mega stars, or normal people TBH. While most people are all about showing their best side, BTS explores the "shadows."
Loved your reaction! BTS has a huge discography and spans different genres of music (rap, rock, R&B, pop, edm, trap, jazz, etc and even country!). You might not like all of it, but There’s something for everyone. They have 3 rappers (RM, Suga, JHope) and 4 vocalists (Jin, Jimin, V, Jungkook). They have some rock influence tracks like “Dionysus” (no MV, but watch the live version it’s insane), “Fake Love” extended version MV (original MV is pop but watch the extended version MV for the guitars). I think you’ll like “Not Today MV, “Fire” MV, “ON” Kinetic Manifesto Film, “Ugh” lyric video, “Baepsae” dance practice video with lyrics, and “Outro: Tear” and “Cypher Medley” live performance vids. BTS are the whole package they can rap well, sing and dancing is skilled and high level, I wouldn’t compare to boy bands of the past since they weren’t skilled like BTS and didn’t dance well, mix rap in tracks or involved in writing and producing their own tracks like BTS. BTW, allot of BTS songs talk about societal, political, mental health and self-help issues. BTS is on another level!
안녕 It's so funny see yours recent reaction from BTS songs, and then saw this video, the very first time that you've seen BTS... I'm happy that you like them and give the chance to know others songs. Thanks again. Love from Portugal 🇵🇹💜
Good reaction!!! I love Mic drop. Anyway, my fav is "Fire". And my bies is Suga, (Agust D when he works alone), I see your reaction when you saw "Rap Monster". He is the leader of BTS. Please, react "Who is bts? the seven members of Bangtan". they have 3 rappers and 4 singers. All of them can dance pretty good!!! From Argentina.
I just came here to see your first BTS video to see how you felt about it back then since you are definitely a fan of them now :D Aren’t you glad that you gave BTS a chance? Thank you for being an open minded back then. Just like this quote “If you listen to music without a prejudice, you’ll like BTS music” - by Suga of BTS. I am excited to follow your BTS journey here so I’m going to binge watch your reaction :) Be safe and stay positive 💜
You got a great introduction to the rabbit hole! Oh my friend you are in for quite a fall, LOL love love love that a metalhead is taking notice of BTS. I am a Lover of all kinds of music. If its good and it’s music I love it. Started out as and always will be a diehard dead head. I married a metalhead and ended up with a daughter into K-pop. I gave BTS a chance for my daughter as a way for us to have something in common teenage girls can be hard...BTS has given me more than amazing music and talent, They carried my daughter through some rough middle school years, helped her to realize that she is worthy and valued and have given me a way to truly bond with my girl. She led me down the rabbit hole severalyears ago and I’ve been falling ever since. I’ve taken her to see them numerous times in Jersey and New York. I love them.....I love their humbleness, Sincerity and vulnerability. 51 I am forever army! 💜
There are 3 rappers (RM, Suga, J-Hope) et 4 vocalists (Jin, Jimin, V and Jungkook). They start on 2013 with a hip hop style. they are amazing performers. Some suggestions for a next MV reaction : Fire, Not today The rapline are really good (some songs : Cypher 1 to 4, UGH, Ddaeng, outro : tear live ). They all released solo mixtapes. RM : RM and Mono. MV Joke Suga aka Agust D: Agust D and D-2 (MVs Agust D, daechwita) J-Hope : Hopeworld Waiting for your next video!
If you want to learn their underdog story please watch XCELESTE'S NOBODIES TO LEGENDS 2019 VIDEO. By the way I am 62 years old and I'm thankful to have lived through the music of The Beatles Yes, Michael Jackson, Garth Brooks and so many greats. I've been following BTS for almost 6 years now. Take the time to get to know them. They so much great music and content! Enjoy!
Wowww you're like OG army. Mad respect to you. I'm so glad they had people like you rooting for them back then. I only became ARMY about 5months ago. Really don't know what I was doing with my life until then.
Fun fact: BTS sampled the beat from Missy Elliots "Get your freak on". BTS beats are the best ive heard since Timbaland. They have all kinds of beats, rap, rock, R&B ect ect.
Oh shoot this was your 1st song. Dang. lol. Steve Aoki collabed with BTS and made this remix. He a famous DJ but i never heard of him until I saw this MV. They practice 12-16 hrs daily. All their songs have amazing choreography. I am a new army since last year and i am still listening to their music. =0)
Oh my god I laughed so hard when you said "His voice doesn't suit him" while talking about RM x))) I thought "Well, have you heard about Felix from the group Stray Kids? Baby Face but deeeeeeeeeeeeeeep voice" x)))
Love watching your reaction to our beloved boys BTS. This is an older music video of them, which is one of my favorites, I would love to see your reaction to On kinetic manifesto. ARMY, which is BTS‘s fandom name, will give you plenty of suggestions or guide you along the way you will not regret it. Please continue to React to BTS you will not be disappointed!
I am a little late to the party. I am sure someone has already mentioned this, but I want to make sure you know, if the video is from Big Hit, you do not need to worry about copyright. They understand the value of sharing their videos with reactors. Thank you for your reaction.
I really really enjoy watching you react to them and be open to their style of music. I have friends who are what you’d call “Metalheads” and they would never appreciate BTS’ talent and music. It’s really fun watching you react, love it!
You don't usually have to worry about copyright as long as you 1 always show the Big Hit intro, 2 it's not a Japanese release, 3 be cautious with lives and such. You'll probably be fine if you follow those rules.
It's a total dis track to their haters. They write the music and lyrics for almost all their songs...oh and the rappers produce most of them. There are 3 rappers and 4 vocalists. All of them dance but they do have 4 main dancers.
kpop has many musical genres, as well as bts blackpink seventeen and more kpop groups, it is normal to see these types of Korean mv, greetings from Peru
LOL! That's ok. BTS fans love it bc we know how it typically ends! I have seen so many reaction and review channels start out with an innocent "let's check out this biggest group in the world right quick", and get sucked in. I just started listening to their music a couple months ago and they were NOT what I expected or assumed in the couple of years I've known "of" them. With BTS alot people go in either with low or different expectations and end up getting addicted. They cover so many genres and have some of the best rappers and dancers in Korea/Asia, all in one group.
