Who Is Gonna Be The One by Jinjer jinjer-metal.com/ Original Video - • JINJER - Who Is Gonna ... My Instagram / metalheadreacts Feel free to Message me with requests.
The video has been ever-so-slightly edited from its original state to remove a certain off-the-cuff comment that I had made that a few people got all bent out of shape over. I forgot that we are now living in a world where everyone gets insulted by everything and that you're not allowed to have an opinion that opposes anyone else's. But in the future, I shall be more careful about what I say on camera so as not to cause any more butt-hurt to such delicate people.
I hate political correctiness culture where you have try to be as neutral than is possible. There is always people who try to look if they can be offended by this ...
@@TwoTrakMind Kinda, she doesn't go very high there though with her normal voice. Pisces is like a nice first impression of her vocal ability and when you then check the rest of their stuff you'll think: But wait! There's more!
Once I started listening to Jinjer, they shot right to the top of my fav bands, musicianship, deep lyrics and Tatiana’s vocal range is limitless and quite impressive!
You catch the lyrics' meanings very quickly, I must say. And you were right about it. If you listen to other Jinjer's songs you'll see Tatiana is a hell of a good lyricist but keep in mind that they're ukrainian and despite her knowledge of English, it's not her native tongue and the wording might seem a bit odd sometimes. : ) You got a thumbs up from me.
Well, thank you very much. I always try to examine what the song itself is about, I find it adds a bit more depth to the track when you listen to it I do have a few other tracks of theirs on my list coming up, and I look forward to them. You do make a good point about the language barrier, I must admit, I hadn't taken that into consideration.
I love that you're actually reacting to the song and the lyrics instead of just going "omg a woman doing harsh vocals, omg, hurr durr" like 99 % of other men reacting to Jinjer :) Thank you!
Hahaha!!! Do they really? I'm massively passionate about music, and as I've said in many of my videos, I like songs with meaning to them, so I'm always interested in the stories they tell or the story behind the writing of the song.
That contrast and range she has is maybe best shown in "Pisces" or in "I speak astronomy". I know that those are their "most commercial" songs but they are damn good songs as well ^^ Checking "Captain clock live" wouldn't hurt as well. I mean, tbh. whichever song you chose you will find something amazing :)
"Sit, Stay, Roll Over" is a face-shredder. I'd love to see your reaction. My personal favorite Jinjer track is "Just Another." Their lyric videos ("A Plus Or a Minus," "No Horde of Value," and "Captain Clock") are pretty great too. You really can't go wrong with this band. Thanks for the reaction.
MetalHead Reacts songwise I Speak Astronomy is their best. Every band has that One epic song and they say themselves for them its I Speak Astronomy. All suggestions made are worth checking. Their latest release Ape is not one of my favorites. I dont like it as much as their early stuff, but youll need to make up your own mind about it ofcourse.
They have a few songs with the same lyrical theme. Especially 'When Two Empires Collide' and 'Cloud Factory'. I recommend checking out all of their lyrics on a page like A to Z lyrics. Tatiana writes most of the lyrics... and she is brilliant at it.
Just saw them last night in Lexington, Kentucky, USA! This song is killer live. You should do yourself a favor and just do a spree of Jinjer reactions, and get it out of the way. That way you can start the journey of discovering what you didn't even know your life was missing. They are that damn diverse and brilliant.
@@bethanymays7473 Yeah, sorry you missed it. They were touring as the opening act for Devil Driver. I bought my ticket just to hear Jinjer, as I haven't listened to Devil Driver in years. It was at the Manchester Music Hall. There couldn't have been more than four or five hundred people there. The floor was probably about a third of the way full, because it was on a Tuesday night. I was a little embarrassed at first because through all the opening acts the crowd was so dead, and I hated for that to be Jinjer's intro to Kentucky but, holy shit, the crowd was so loud and excited once Raven Black got started. When Jinjer hit the stage, the whole building was vibrating. And, even though it was a smaller show, those four played as though it was Madison Square Garden! Seriously, they played and sang their asses off! I mean they just blew the doors off. I met several people who had never heard them before (all decked out in Devil Driver merch), who all said that Jinjer stole the show. Tatiana's stage presence and interaction/intimacy with the crowd was stunning. I would have made the 6 hour drive to Columbus 2 weeks later to see them, but I couldn't get off work.
William Duckett oh my god that sounds like it was awesome! Sets like that are the best, glad it was a good time! Gonna be kicking myself for awhile for missing them when they were so close
@@williamduckett3407 got to say, I am totally envious. I have only recently found jinjer, slightly obsessed now and not just for the obvious reason. Their sheer quality of musicianship has hooked me. Cheers mate, from the UK.
Ive seen them grow since 2011 and they used to have two guitarplayers in the beginning and this their thirth drummer since Ive been following them. There is footage on RU-vid when they were just teens and already you could tell they are a class of their own. In the beginning I still could talk with Tati (Tatiana) and the rest of the band but those days are unfortunately over. They gotten to big over the years. Good to see you like them also. 🤘
I always like to read lyrics to songs, I love knowing what they're all about, and I figured I'd put that element into my videos... Set myself apart from other reactors.
Dude you gotta check out Pisces by Jinjer the live studio version its incredible her voice is absolutely incredible! you defintely made a new sub here bro keep doing what your doing love the style! cant wait to check your other reactions!
I love how in depth you go with this reaction dude. Keep up the good work dude! Whats the name of your band man? Would love to feature you on my channel. SUBSCRIBED
Great video! My constructive criticism would be that you should apply some filters to your mic input to clean up the sound. I don't know what you use to record, but if you use OBS you can apply a sound suppression filter to block out background noise.
Thank you for the suggestion there. I am currently trying to get together enough cash to afford myself some better equipment, including a better mic setup.
clean up the high gain static in the background(fan maybe?) and youd have the perfect channel! I'm a big fan of Jinjer and you had a great reaction to the song and lyric. nice job
I am currently in the process of getting new equipment including a better mic, pop filters and different software so that I might improve the quality of the videos in future.
You need to listen to Gojira with "Silvera" or "Stranded" Official clip, or "remembrance" , "flying whales", "love", "space time", "a gift of guilt", "oroborus", "where dragons well" etc... in live !!!
Lol found your reaction to Jinjer. Extremely honest, lol, most reactions I watched are of virgin ears, lol. Loved it! and lol that's awful that u had to edit it like u had too. If you like comedy roasts check out Ryan Upchurch, especially his TRENDDINNGG!! follweed by soldier boy tell him. He did of a roast of a horrible fake biased reactor (I actually watch the reactor Spazz b4 he did roast and was agreeing with everything Ryan Upchurch said) that was hilarious! Or one of his many many comedy videos. And yes he does music but mainly rap, even though he has 2 rock albums and 1 country album. The other 9 are rap. Counrty Rap at that. But trust me I think you would like him. Don't have to do a reaction just enjoy.
this band is from Ukraine, so it's natural people there live though days and years and years of Russian oppression. By the time this song came out Russia was taking Crimea from Ukraine by force. Ukraine has one of the biggest atomic Russian arsenal. So this a rock protest and the lyrics is fantastic. Nice reaction.
@@MetalHeadReacts yeah man. I was joking anyway. I actually really liked this video and they way you broke it down. One of the better and not fake reaction videos. Keep it up, man.
