@@randywissler9923 He's reacting to AC/DC's biggest tour of all time, so I'd say it's okay. Also, Bon himself never performed the original live. He only ever did it with the more explicit lyrics. And to be honest, I can get somebody liking Bon's singing style more than Brian's, but nobody in AC/DC has ever had "swag" in any context. They're just a bunch of regular guys with regular personalities that just happen to be incredibly talented musicians. People can try to come up with reasons why Bon was objectively better, but it's all entirely subjective in the end. River Plate is honestly my favorite rendition of the Jack; it feels bluesier than the original, and it has the best soloing in my opinion. Does that mean it's better? No. I personally like Brian just as much as Bon, even on some of Bon's own material. You can state a preference, but if someone prefers something else then that's that. Music will forever be entirely subjective, and there's nothing wrong with that. Saying he "needs to" react to the original instead is like saying he can't react to Johnny Cash's "Hurt" cover instead of Nine Inch Nails. You may prefer the original, but he can react to and/or prefer whatever he wants. Just because you prefer something doesn't mean it's unequivocally better than anything else.
