Gina there is nothing you ever do that I don't love. One of my greatest joys is being a member of Stamp TV and all the different groups. Thanks for sharing Gina
This is such a lovely card, Gina. Your videos are very easy to listen to as well as watch. It's as though you are talking to us like we are right there with you because you seem so at ease being on camera. Thanks.
I love your no-nonsense presentation. I get annoyed with those gals who feel they have to joke and laugh and spend too much time with nonsense. You get down to what I want to learn and it is so appreciated. I have learned so much from you.
Hi Gina, A little tip when using the sticky dot paper is to put the paper that you removed back over after you place your images on and rubbing. This will prevent getting the glue on your fingers. I use this myself.
I was so excited watching this video for the first time, but I now have the product in front of me and what a new dimension to watching, and then doing! Keep up the wonderful work, Gina! Kudos....
I'm super impressed with how nice that embossing powder worked. I don't like the kind that I currently have, and when it's gone I'm going to replace it with yours!
One of the most beautiful cards I've seen! Thank you for teaching us, I've learned so much from your videos. Love your beautiful stamps too, they stamp so clear and crisp. Hugs!
I am new to the card making society and learning by myself. Thank you for sharing this video with us. I learn so many things from this. I have die cut machine but still I didn't use it.
Gorgeous card! I love the metalic embossing powder! I've never seen such fine powder as that and it melts to look just like metal on the surface! Do you have other metalic colors as well? I have some ideas for making mobiles that would be really cool!
Lovely card. I went on the website to try and find GKD birthday essentials butterfly stamps and dies and it was not there. Is there anything similar that would replace it?
I love the Metallic Card Project. I am in search of the butterly stamp and butterfly die you used in this project. Is the Stamp Set called Birthday Blessings? Where do Iocate the butterfly Die that cuts out the butterfly?? Thanks

Gina K...... Not sure what happened when you first took the smallanti-static bag to your black.. but it looks like it has left a powder look to the black.. did it actually show up as discolored to your project or just an illusion to us watching the video????
The anti-static bag adds a powder to the cardstock to stop the embossing powder sticking to places you don't want it. Once you have finished the embossing you can wipe the card with a tissue or soft cloth to remove any excess anti-static powder. Hope this helps.
Anita, there aren't any written instructions, just the video. However, there are measurements and a supply list under the video and also at www.stamptv.com.
No, a hairdryer will just blow the powder off the card. An embossing gun doesn't have a strong air current but it gets much hotter than a hair dryer. :)
Oh ty very much for replying :) I asked because here the embossing gun is way too expensive .... so i wanted to take a chance on the poor hairdryer ... but no ..I ll save for the right tool ... Kisses from Argentina
When I was starting out I did not have a heat gun either.. I ended up using the toaster..lol.. yes.. it has such a high heat though that if you are not careful it will gently curl your paper. I also found it a little dangerous because as I got closer and closer to my paper I actually ended up slightly under the cupboard above it... and when the toaster "popped up" I slammed my head into the cupboard... hahahahahaha.. but I was hooked and bought a heat gun!! Had to share that funny one! :D
Do you ever have problems sending items through the mail using only glue dots to put pieces on your project like your butterflies? It is a beautiful card! TFS!
StampTV Hi Gina, thanks for the extra tip! I also wanted to ask you about your black embossing powder. I know that on the video it is always hard to tell but when you put down your black embossing powder, does it tend to stick everywhere regardless of using the embossing buddy? I know that normally with black embossing powder, it tends to go everywhere and is a real pain. I normally just use black ink and then clear emboss it in order to avoid having to go in with a fine brush and really have to clean up. Is your brand better in that aspect? Thanks!
I usually fold my card backwards before putting it in the envelope and that way anything sticking up will not be caught in the postage process. It works great and no need for any other pieces of paper, etc.
