A lot of it is actually the mix of the song itself, it's really, really bass cover friendly. As far as the tone goes it's mostly from the Darkglass b7k with 100hz and 1khz heavily boosted and an aggressive playing style.

I like it, I'd perhaps prefer if it was a bit "simpler" though, I kind of think there are too many sound options in it and I'd perhaps prefer less possibilities where everything was a bit more catered towards my taste. A lot of the tones you can get out of the bass I'm not really interested in at all. Besides that I like everything about it, comfortable and well balanced in every way.

Nope, D tuning here. I usually have it tuned in D#.

But I'm not using a drop tuning or anything like that, so D standard yeah... pardon the confusion.

This song is actualy lower.... You can hear that very clearly in the bass enhanced version. I play it on BEAD. I did turn on the tuner app on my phone just to make sure. And it indeed goes pretty low.
