Maverick McFarlane Well... they let fans choose the songs they will play and like always, since 90% of metallica fans only know master of puppets, fade to black. seek and destroy, enter sadman,nothing else matters and one, most of their best songs get left behind such as Blackened, Battery, Leper Messiah, Eye of the beholder, the call of ktulu, no remorse, etc.

Yeah, for me it's the ultimate Metallica song. the key in E minor, chromatisms, clean guitar sections, tempo changes, memorable rhythm patterns and guitar riffs, agressive lyrics with metaphors, wah-wah solo, melodies and it's very lengthy. I love it!

@AbyssalSkum-gd5ly you can see enough. You need to have a good idea first. Then where he is just shows you a hint kn the detail.... like does he play that lick on the high strings or lower strings but high on the fretboard. Or is the slide here or there... and how clean you need to get each note to sound good. Sometimes you think you have to get all nites perfectly. Most often there's 50% perfect, 25% sloppy and 25% in between. The sloppy ones add a bit of grit, texture, attitude or power or whatever.

i think you figured the tabs out ur self right? you played it different than any tab i have seen and its PERFECT in majority its the same as common high rated tabs but some other parts like some spots in the solo you played differnetly but awesome exact same sound .. but you made simpler for me lol thanks man ilove that u love metallica

Great playing dude! My one critique would be that you should turn the backing track down a little and record yourself playing the other guitar parts, then compile them together in your editing software. That way we get to hear more of your fantastic playing and less of the studio album ;)

I think he used the pedal too, I mean it's called pedal because it's usually used with your for foot for fast change

He didn’t, he recorded the direct input and added the distortion later. The pickup switch was to get a different sound/tone. EDIT: unless he has a pedal, in which case he simply presses it when he wants it

His sounds a lot cleaner than if you do that though. It does give you a fairly clean tone but I haven't been able to get it as clean as his. Maybe if you fuck with amp settings enough you can get it though, I don't know lol
