Cover with famous intro and its reversed. All guitars are recorded by me over orijinal drum and bass tracks. (except for the Kirk's solo) / tankutaydinliyim infojingletank@gmail.com
How in the fuk could something sound better backwards, than forwards? And who was the utter genius in the band who decided to at least give that intro a listen backwards? This will forever blow my mind.
One of the best intros of all time, sometimes I play only the intro. don't get me wrong the song is amazing but the intro is beyond this world. For me is like epic or the feeling of someone ready for a battle.... I don't know..
I never knew why I was so mesmerized by that intro. I knew there was something different but could not place a finger on it. It was REVERSED!!!!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you, for putting that mystery to rest for me. Awesome job!
most devastatingly beautiful intro ever written. I wish i could play the guitar like you. If i did, i would probably play Blackened over and over non-stop until i die.
so FUCKING good. I've watched like 20 covers of this song on youtube and your tone is by far the best, its just so damn clear and percussive. the palm muted E's in the main riff sound so good. I would give anything for that tone lol
At first I was like 'there's something odd with this guy's mixing in the intro' Then I realized the most basic thing ever: this one finally has bass lmaoooo
Dude, this is a GREAT cover of a really, really tough song. This is easily one of my favorite Metallica songs ever. I'm 40 now and still remember when I bought And Justice for All on tape and heard Blackened for the first time. Absolutely blew my mind. I've recently come back to playing guitar after many years and I'm learning this song again. Just want to say I appreciate the hell out of this cover, because it is NOT easy. But it is very rewarding when it starts coming together.
Without a doubt, one of the best covers of Blackened I have ever heard! Perfect timing and tone... However... James downpicks the ENTIRE SONG! Absolutely incredible job though!!!🤘🤘🤘
@5:25 I have been listening to this song for years and just realized this riff sounds life the jaws theme. I was always focused on the solo and Never realized it before.🤯
You hit that technique sweet spot where your playing has just the right amount of startling tightness and precision but without sounding mechanical. Your tone slays too.
Could you imagine that this is the firts metallica's song I heard in my life after been listening hard rock... ("and justice" was my first album than I heard)... it blow my head!!
he is down picking the verses which is the part that is most noticebale. Most wouldb't even notice the alternate picking in the intro if it were a blind test. I'd alternate pick the intro too-- long song to downpick all the way through
the tone of and justice for all is maybe the sharpest and cleanest tone ever in metal history. This tone forgive no mistake. You hear everything in it. And this record is just divine.
