Happy New Year! We're happy to start 2024 off with this Metallica classic. As usual, our man Jason Sheppard kills it on guitar. And with a well toned physique. I'm sure the next Metallica song will be off of St. Anger with a sampled frying pan as the snare sound. All jokes aside, any thoughts on more tunes? Looking forward to another year of releasing more accurate tabs and content 🤘
@@professorpink223 Try out some easier solos first maybe. Like Black Sabbath, or Pink Floyd solos. This solo is not easy at all, I was kinda exaggerating. Only reason the solo is easier for me is because I can’t downpick for the life of me lol, I economy pick from years of playing solos.
Definitely a banger tune good job on this out of all the Metallica songs I know how to play (a lot) I never sat down and figured this one out lol..Might have to dust off the guitar and follow along
You probably won’t read this but if you do..Thank you. I love all your classic rock..definitely Led Zeppelin and with that being said I would love to see how you tackle Good Times,Bad times and even with all the covers of it on RU-vid I would like to see how you play it if you know how without overdubs as obviously it’s layered guitars but none or most on RU-vid just doesn’t sound right and your videos have helped with so many songs I have learned from you so if you ever get time and want to do another Led Zeppelin would you please cover that one. Thank you and keep rocking 🤘🏻🎸🤘🏻
I swear this guy can just have the calmest hands while performing one of the heaviest songs with down picking, amazing technique. Always go here to learn because the tabs are always accurate on how the performer plays it exactly, looking forward to some more Metallica tabs 🤘🤘
Whoever asked for this, give them a gold medal, and give this man a medal, because this is one the best covers I’ve ever seen. I always get to learn my favourite songs with his tabs, and they’re always guaranteed accurate. Great job! By the way, is there any chance you could do The Call Of Ktulu by Metallica on Ride The Lightning? It’s a great song, and I want to learn it with really accurate tabs.
A few days ago I was just looking at some tablatures of this song and they weren't complete and I didn't understand them, luckily you just uploaded it, I'm saved, you're great
Just wanted to chime in and say how relieved I am that this is so well received. I’m always a bit nervous about doing Metallica songs because their fans demand accuracy with tabs and they are absolutely justified in thinking that way. Metallica is up there with Sabbath in terms of influencial bands. They are absolute monsters. This was so much fun to play. The heavy stuff always is and this was always one of my favorite Metallica tunes. If it wasn’t for the power I get from my armpit hair I don’t think I could have ever downpicked that fast. My friend Cody owns this original 84 explorer… what a guitar. I had a hard time giving it back. The leads were done on my trusty Charvel (which basically plays itself). I can’t wait to do more Metallica songs. So many more killer tracks to pick from!
I love it. Mr Tabs IS so incredible to reproduce thèse musics. Coincidence ? it's metal my favorite style of all time! Do much and attack megadeth (dystopia and in thé darkest hour WE dont talk about it enough) and pantera(drag thé waters, violent but awsome).Annihilator IS a band not enough known, it would be great to reproduce some of it. Good Luck !!
Very helpful, I'm trying to learn the lead parts. Lead is not really my forte. This song will be forty on July 27th. As all songs on RTL. I intend to cover this song in it's entirety for the RTL anniversary. It's my favorite song of all songs. I already have the Rhythm guitars, bass and drums recorded. This solo will be the biggest challenge for this project. So I really appreciate videos like this one. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. 🤘
Did you get Metallica themselves to help you with this? It feels like it came straight from the studio. Keep up the amazing work! Also can we get number of the beast by iron maiden
Nicely executed, as usual! Now all we need is an auditorium filled with headbangers yelling "Die! Die! Die!" in unison with the mosh section. For a second there, I was 15 again :)
