I was there too, 32 years waiting to see them... loved every min, and I did shed some tears.

I was also there looking at the cameras was cool but looking down at them was something else

Same story here. Was introduced to them by my brother with the Ride the Lightning album when I was just a kid. Fell in love with the music from the start. Brother passed this last January but I brought his ashes with me to the show in a necklace and we got to watch them live for the 1st time together. They played so much of the Ride the Lightning album that I was practically sobbing with tears of joy bc it felt like an unofficial tribute to my brother. I only wish I could tell Metallica, in person, how much it meant to me.

I love this song but its a second fav to me overall, Enter Sandman next to being an awesome song holds a special place in my heart as its the first Metallica song I ever listened to

What year? I saw them in 92 or 93. Unfortunately it was an area. No pit. Now Mr Bungle in 91 was awesome in a small club! Pit was fire 🔥 Slayer was was awesome too in 94 pit was 🔥 Obituary in 92 was🔥. Miss those high school days.

Amen brother, I'm in a band too. We gotta keep good music rolling when these guys decide to throw in the towel. All good things come to an end.. passing on to the next generation. There is still alot of great music coming out.. the mainstream crap tho.. I could care less about.
