@@Chickenfanatic713 an ok drummer from denmark ok The Metallica brand is shrouded with lawyers protecting the brand market to a new generation James you should do an unforgivinen auto tune ? Why is Megadeth, Mastodon, and Lamb of God cooler to me ?
Inviting someone form the audience to play drums on a Metallica show is actually quite brilliant. At the best case scenario, the audience member gives a good show and at worst the audience member is better than Lars.
It wouldn't be worst case if they found a better drummer from the audience, they'd finally have a decent drummer. Lars has lost a few steps since ...And Justice.
Him: Dad what will be my birthday present? Dad: We're going to a Metallica Concert! Him: Oh yeah! **in the concert** Dad: Now go up the stage Him: What? Dad: That's your actual present.
Are you joking (I hope) or was the kid really sued? These days it doesn't surprise me! They really should've let the kid finish he is so talented and gifted. Check out his page just search on RU-vid "Avery Drummer" he has many drum covers. He started out at around 5 or 6 years old his future is set!!
@@kubabednarz225 but he is just a 13 year old on stage with one of his idols being nervous and shit and nota grown man with planty of stage experience as lars. and tbo i like lars but he himslefe often fucks up with tempo
deadman yea fair enough I never said lars is perfect but I’m replying to the comment ^ which said “lars took back over before he got more embarrassed” which is just a silly thing to say and if anything saved the kid from fucking up the tempo even more
They should hire this kid and fire Lars at least they can have a drummer who can keep up with the beat sure Lars sounds good on studio albums which brings the question how many takes does the band have to do on the album to get it right lol 😆😂
Come on guys just because you wanna diss lars doesnt mean you're gonna compare him to that kid. The kid started by going offbeat🤷♂. It would have been understandable if the kid was atleast good
It’s not that bad cos he is definitely nervous and he’s a kid. Plus it’s not really a hard song anyways. It’s not like he’s playing a slipknot song so 🤷🏼♂️
@@masterchat1998 Wait, is saying to ball just a southern thing? I hear people say all the time down here and I thought it was just normal. Or maybe it's an American thing and your from another country.
@@calinbaciu1846 And do you also understand that this may be his first time playing for thousands of people, and that he is obviously nervous? I met Metallica when I was 13 and I have never been more nervous in my life, I can't imagine what it will be like to be on stage with them.
@@angelusapatridahd5852 sure but can he actually play better than lars? the guy has been with metallica for decades, recording countless songs and doing shows after shows. let’s be realistic here. he’s a world class drummer in one of the most influential metal bands out there. he’s not a flashy player and at times I myself am underwhelmed but maybe metallica wouldn’t be the same without him.
@@calinbaciu1846KingHorse888i just wrote a comment in support of the guy in the video, I don't think it's to analyze if he was able to keep the tempo or if his presence was flat. I explained to you why that happened, and it's because he was nervous. Lars is one of the most important and influential drummers in the history of metal, yes, we all know that, he just tried to show his respect to that boy, who at 13 years old has had the balls to play with Metallica. Obviously to say that he is better than Lars is to go too far, that now he doesn't play like in the 80s doesn't mean he doesn't know how to play, but I take it more as a compliment to the boy.
I could tell too but for never playing with Metallica plus in front of a stadium he did great! I been playing bass for 30 years and don't know if I would've been able to play in front of a stadium at the drop of a hat. This kids got balls of steal!
People are arguing about the kid in the comments but to be honest, he really wasn't that bad. The tempo may have been a bit fast but it slowed down towards the end (or at least I it slow down), though it still may be a bit out of pace. The band members didn't really seem to care anyway.
its crazy how mediocre lars's drumming actually is. Metallica would be a completely different animal if they had a bad ass metal drummer. but hey thats what makes metallica, metallica.
