Reading through the comments, all these people whining about "why name him Castor? It's "beaver" in Spanish!" He's named Castor because it means "shining one" or "to shine" in Greek. That's why James named him that.
It os also the name of a character from the Greek mythology who is the son of Zeus and Leda, which is, by the way the reason why the star was named like that (Castor is a star from the constellation of gemini)
Anyone who has seen the documentary "Absent" understands how huge this is. Despite the travel and time commitment that is inevitable he is doing all he can to right the wrongs from his own childhood and stop the cycle. Being a father is the best and most important thing a man can do. This is awesome. (men and women both should check out the movie/documentary "Absent.")

Castor, along with his brother Pollux were 2 famous Argonauts in the Greek Mythology. The 2 most brightest stars of Gemini costellation are called Castor and Pollux after the twin brothers. In Latin the twins are also known as Gemini or Castores. And yes, Castor is a cool name for a kid!
YISH! 11 years ago now….Castor is now 21! Old enough to share a cold one with his old man now….It’s now time to truly call him “grandpapa Het”, rather than just papa Het!
