I miss Jason and his vocals on live performances he had such a deep growl.

It appears as though throughout Jasons entire time with Metallica, he played with the most continuous passion. Its almost as if hes still the teenager with a dream, playing in his room 110%. That guy sure gave his all.

The era when James went full trailer trash, Kirk looked like Michael Jackson, and Jason was just a head banging neck.

This era is so unique and weird, it’s like kirk and lars are still on the black album tour but james and jason are morphing into the load era. james has blown his voice out in the earlier years, jason cut his hair already, lars is playing a load-sized black album drum kit, and kirk seems to be just as he was on the black album tour

Always love Jason's backing vocals on Creeping Death. He was so good

This was a strange time to be a Metallica fan. You could tell they were morphing into something else but I don't think anyone could have predicted what came next.

I save Metallica Monday’s for Saturday every week. Saturday is the day I usually consistently work but since the virus I don’t work and save the video for Saturday. Also just wanted to say, even though my favourite album of all time is justice, my favourite song of all time is the god that failed. Every time they show a concert that has that song makes my Saturday even better

Thanks so much for posting this. My first ever concert was 1 month earlier in Philly, I was 15. I wish footage of that show would show up, but I most distinctly remember Lars’s bass drum being so powerful I felt it in my stomach. I also blew out my voice by the third song. Had to learn to pace myself!

Sure do miss Jason everytime. He was a beast.

This was such a good time for music! This was an awesome tour! These guys were on top of their game, even when some weird shit was going on with metal too... A few of my metal head buds and I went to this tour in NJ... Lawn seats, nothing crazy. We made our way down to the front of the lawn and I saw this guy walking back and forth, I don't know why but I yelled "hey man, over here" He walked over and slapped a back stage pass on me, said see you after the show... I nearly shit my pants!!!! Made my way back stage and hung out in a room with about 25 other ppl, Jason and Kirk came out and bullshit with everyone for a few min, then Lars came out, so for the time, this dude was my drumming idol and I know I'm not alone. And he sat right next to me and started asking me about my shirt.. holy hell! I didn't know what to do!!!! We bullshit for a few and he moved on... I talked to James and that was cool, but holy shit! Lars! I was maybe 15, I've been working in music my whole life, and meet a few ppl, but that was probably the greatest moment of my early teens!

I guess Lars showed this to Rick Ruben during the production of Death Magnetic and said "make it sound like this"

This tour was the first concert I ever got to go to. It was so cool. It was in Nashville TN and I got to see them many times after that. The 90s were awesome

I saw this tour in Barrie, ON. Suicidal Tendencies and Danzig opened, Rob was playing for Suicidal at the time, first and last time close to the stage and it was pretty insane, scratch that off my bucket list.

My first concert ever was this tour a few days later at Brown Field, in San Diego CA. The dust bowl concert. Metallica, Candlebox, Suicidal Tendencies, Fight. 16 years old. Great show. July 31st, 1994

This was the show that caused me to elbow a hole into my bedroom wall when my parents said I couldn't go, because 'they didn't trust other people." Flash forward to New Years 96 to 97 and they let me drive 50 miles to San Jose with one other friend all by ourselves.
