I've been crazy busy this summer with my family and kids sports. This was originally supposed to be released for MAYtallica month, but I got behind with family events. Thanks for being patient and continuing your awesome support.
Metallica had a major influence on me musically at a very young age. Lars gets a lot of backlash, but deep down we all love Lars and his abilities, especially the older albums. The entire Master of Puppets album is pure musical genius. Their title track is easily without a doubt one of their greatest songs EVER and up there with one of the best thrash metal songs ever written. I absolutely love the guitar solos and the melodic "middle" of an already LONG track. This one without a doubt goes down as one of my harder ones I've recorded, being able to attempt to get all, mostly some cymbal hits in the right spots with some added chinas here and there. During recording, my damn birds eye gopro cam slightly shifted downward during the double kick/floor toms thunderous middle section. Not what I wanted, but it wasn't too bad. Thank you all for listening/watching. I hope you enjoy this one. I freakin love all of you.
