@Dwight Charles Well he can’t stay young & angry forever can he? Obviously he’s not gonna sound like how he was in the 80’s. This was 7 years ago, and it was a pretty good performance of the song.
Out of their first 5 albums, it’s the fourth. RTL, is first, AJFA is second, MOP is third, KMA is fourth and TBA/Metallica’s self titled album is fifth
Its funny how people and "fans" talk shit about this band, this band was/is/'ll be the inspiration of many people, included me...is the biggest and more influential band of all time! and this gig was a year ago, and I would like that people who talks shit about them go and search videos from concerts performed this year and they will impresses with they performance, and Lars this year was OUTSTANDING in every fucking song they played!
Love the Kill Em All album, one of my favourites, this song Metal Militia, Hit the Lights and Phantom Lord are my favourites! Keep rocking, Metallica family for life! 🔥🤘🙌👏👊💖🔥
Awesome performance, Lars slipped up far too often on Metal Militia though. James is sounding absolutely fantastic on both his guitars and vocals, top stuff.
I`m not even Australian, and i think the Australian gigs are the best. The Set lists, energy, quality, it`s so good man. Good is an understatement, it`s fucking epic.
Jonathan Acosta I meant to say one of the best of 2013. Plus, Mexico City 1993 / San Diego 1992 / Seattle 1989 are probably my three favorite gigs. But I love the Australian gigs I really enjoy them, *my opinion.*
I’ve always been curious what James eats on occasion before he sings. You can see him pop something in his mouth, and I saw them 10 times on the Hardwired Tour (Black Ticket) and I was always on the front rail. Every night he would pop a chocolate piece or something in his mouth. I actually got some of his Fiji water mixed with Pedialiyte after a gig. So I’m sure it’s to keep their energy up.
After seeing this video my expectations were set a lot higher for Metallica. This performance was awesome! Kill Em All was their best album in my opinion. Please return to this style and hit the studio guys! Don't dissapoint!
+Emo Samuraj maybe, but am I the only one who noticed that when ever James and Rob are over with Lars Kirk is always over on the left of the stage with his Wah even when they are nowhere near the solo or anything
Say what you will about Lars, but he is always friendly as fuck during the meet and greets. always in a good mood and making people feel good. I don't get the hate anyways.
maybe its because you're listening to a compressed youtube video through your laptop speakers.. you really gotta be in the crowd. and if you've been to a metallica concert you know the bass is definitely not small!
