Hi guy's. I'm Pieter from Pieter Daarth Project.
With my Bass Playthrough Videos I pay homage to all that great Bands and Musicians who inspired me. I hope you have as much fun as I had doing this.
This time Metallica and "My Friend of Misery". The Bass Lick written by Jason Newsted inspired me very much. As an owner of the Metallica "Live-Shit Box" watching the Live in Mexico Shows on my VHS over an over again, I was inspired by Jasons Solo Performance he did, by using this Bass Figure to amaze the audience. It was one of the first Bass Solos I studied and was able to play.
A great song and great memory for me of an "almost" unknown song to people you are not very close engaged with Metallica.
