Covers CAN be good learning tools but, depending on the complexity of the song, riff, or lead, etc. They can also sometimes be almost useless when not accompanied with the tablature. The CORRECT tab can make all the difference in the world in learning to play a song the way it's supposed to be played. But yes, covers are great if you just need to watch how it's played.

@@bartzweers4562 You know, when I play I use the normal distortion of the amplifier and I lower the knobs of the upper pickup a bit and when I lower the pickup I get the distortion, but I wanted to get a more professional sound and I thought I could without a pedal, but I thank you. Your tone sounds good but I believe on the record, James used what's called a "scooped" tone... basically turn the mids all the way down and the lows and highs way up... nice job tho.
Chris Calvert i went to a guitar shop and asked what i could do to make ik white! They give me the advice to cover it with a white sticker! It's cheaper than paint!
