Fun fact. When the athletic director was deciding on an entrance, it was between this and Guns ‘n Roses Welcome to the Jungle but he went with this. The jumping started because a band member was cold so just started jumping up & down to keep the blood flowing and that’s all she wrote. Love my Hokies!!

Thank you. One thing that disappoints me about UVa fandom is that lack of fan support. I'm a VT grad, and I think the rivalry would be bigger, but I know too many Virginia alumni and fans that seem indifferent to the football team.

It probably reminded him of the Moscow show when he saw it. Crowds at American events just aren’t as electric as VT at a regular show anymore, because they’ve got their cellphones out, to document the show so they can enjoy it later. Nothing like being in the moment and living the crazy show tho. It’s a drug.

Hokie fan here we definitely paid Metallica the first time they ever got to play it through the lyrics was the 2019 ND game. If you notice no other team NFL or college dares to play more than 30 seconds of Metallica because they will sue.
