Dude I’ve made 25 comments in two days about that section! JAMES IS KILLER, and also LARS who puts the pieces together … yeah man, Lars is brilliant! He gets the best out of the band! The last record was fucking badass and this one will be as well if not better! I mean come on, LUX???? WOW! Now this??? I can’t stop banging at the spoken word section dude! And MORE vocals after the last chorus is SO PERFECT! FUCKKKK
This song really is the technicality of Death Magnetic combined with the polished streamline of Hardwired to self destruct. Great song, great reaction!
This song made me think of No Remorse, Atlas, Rise!, Creeping Death, Prince Charming and Fuel. Also sounds like something Judas Priest might make. Good shit 🤘
Great reaction! You're an diehard Metallica fan, as I am. A lot different than some of the boring and complaining "fans" out there. METALLICA IS AMAZING!!! can't wait for 72 Seasons, cheers from Brazil man.
Glad you reacted so fast to this one! Amazing reaction as always btw. I feel this song is taking some of the approach they had for Load and Reload meaning that from an instrumental standpoint, it is not as hard hitting as we are used to but, lyric-wise, it's much more deep and heavy. I really liked it and I admire the fact that they keep surprising us after 42 years into their career. Can't wait for the album!
I have serious Load & Reload vibes on this i f‘ing love it! First we got Kill em All and now we got Load/Reload its like a journey through their discography so far. I like the verse riff the most, it sounds so evil and it has that classic Metallica sound 🤘
@@7-cheese333 reload is good. I like Fuel, memory remains, and Unforgiven II. I’m just saying that Load sucks. I’m not trying to be mean I just don’t like when people mention that album. It’s embarrassing
I already know you’ll love this BANGER! The last half of this song is FUCKING SICK! HETFIELD VOCALS ARE SO FUCKING AMAZING MAN, this album is AS GOOD SOUNDING as HARDWIRED and I am DELIGHTED at that! One difference will be I’m betting we get a BALLAD, and we need one! JAMES is due for a ballad to blow the worlds mind yet again! Secondly, we may get an instrumental in one of the last 4 tracks, when you look at the song titles it is almost obvious… CANNOT WAIT TIL APRIL MAN, I AM FREAKING OUT!!!!
Man so many negative comments on the official video, calling Metallica washed up and bland and all this other crap. Is the sound different from their early work? Yes. That doesn’t mean it’s bad. They’re in their 60s for crying out loud, they’re not gonna be the same band they were 40+ years ago. If you don’t like the music, that’s your subjective opinion, everyone has their own taste, but again that doesn’t mean it’s bad music. To me this and Lux really kick ass and I can’t wait for the album, and I especially can’t wait to see them live in August!
Problem is you guys thinking this is good material, it’s not. This is amateurish at best just look at the megadeth new album, it sucks too but at least they go and try to write decent songs and not long turds like Metallica nowadays, and what’s with that 80’s vibes of lux cringerna that’s lame as fuck we are in 2023 give me something new
@@charcodesangre1103 They are 60 year olds theyre not going to be rechanging the genre they've done that it's a young man's game, they are just having fun making and playing music and are reisinoirsd by the old bands that inspired them in the first place. Megadeths album has some cool riffs but the songs were boring and unispired and Dave's heart clearly isn't in it anymore he doesn't seem like he's having fun at all
You had the same reaction as me when the song finished. I know after Lux Æterna (and I loved the song don’t get me wrong but) I wasn’t expecting them to release a song like this one where tbh it feels more complicated and definitely more like a load/reload song then kill ‘em all and I like the fact this album isn’t just all full speed or nothing! I really love the slowed talking section too it reminds me a little bit of Judas Kiss and King Nothing because those songs have similarly styled sections. I think this album will be phenomenal and this song just blew my mind. Unrelated but I’ve been watching you since hardwired came out and I found your reaction to the album (first ever video was your spit out the bone reaction) and I don’t understand how you don’t have more subscribers like other react channels! You have such genuine reactions and don’t hold back on any of your thoughts and that’s what I love about your content/reactions is that I know I’m getting an honest reaction from a genuine fan ❤
I get little Enter Sandman groove on the drums. I just love how they put the songs all of the sutten out with no countdown. This album is gonna be great.
I didn't even know it was dropping today,I heard this last week and this is a great song but wait until you hear the rest of the album wow,iam friends with lars and jamee for many years
Is it April 14th yet!! Can’t wait to hear the whole album Also, you should definitely check out the acapella group Voiceplay’s cover of Nothing Else Matters. It’s so good and very different.
After Metallica releasing a new song, I always listen to their video and then go to your channel for the reaction video. And it always delivers! Cheers man!
Another one in a series of good reactions👍.... This Metallica is not kidding 😎 it seems that the upcoming album will be magnificent both in terms of music and lyrics. This thing is superbly played, it has the influence of Death Magnetic album, groovy sound, good riffs and transition ...and a text that talks about suicide! strong and too strong, good and fierce, that's why I'm looking forward to the new album... greetings and stay heavy🤟☠️
Yes sir!! What a banger!! 🤘🏻🔥 Lux Aeterna was fast and thrash with not a lot of lyrical content. This song is what we expect from James and his deep meanings. Kirks solo was not over the top, but reminds me of how Mark Tremonti plays, it just glues solidly to the music and it’s perfection. I am pumped for this album, and I’m so happy they are taking bits and pieces from the old school, and bringing some of the new too. James sounds insanely good, the band is tight and I’m so ready!!
Hey everybody I'm 54 years old the listen to Metallica for 40 years play 1months ago they drop lux aeterna. And then today screaming suicide I'm sorry youngsters but Metallica is still a good heavy metal bands like you've never heard before and you'll hear again God bless America and God bless Metallica Metallica Metallica
If i could see Lux Aeterna in Kill em All, i could see this one in Load/Reload easily. The speaking lyrics, bouncy riffs, a lot of experimemting in here actually. I love it
I will see them twice too in Paris. Second listen is even better. Great freaking song here and I was like you when I first listened to it. Might be as fucking good as Kill'em all if they keep going like that.
I am listening that song the third time today... And i feel more like it! Some riffs associated to me music inspiration of Lemmy's a kind of tribute to him, I think. GREAT STUF! Rest of song similar to last record. What is good too. Let's wati for rest of Album. Fuck Yeah!
I think I'm liking this song more than "Lux." It has such a full sound with some damn good lyrics! Also can't forget the starting lead, and two leads that sounded great! Overall this song is a win for sure🤘🏻
Great song, I didn't liked it when i heard it first time but after second is much better, riffs reminds Atlas rise style, it will sound so heavy live, can't wait for it. Great reaction btw 🤟😀
The Loadish beggining - Aint my bitch. Then they develop the story with many layers. Hetfield sounds like he is struggling with bronchytidis a bit😁, but fits the song perfectly.
Very metallica by numbers at this point. And that's ok. Just happy they're healthy and making music. James sounds really good and has clearly learnt how to use his voice really well at this stage in his life. Production sounds top quality too. Only issues I have and much like the last couple albums the guitar tuning and tones just sound so mid and light. Put some crunch on them guys. No ones expecting death core level of tones but damn it some effects on basic riffage would go a long way on songs like this
@@UGameplays1 my point was James is a riff God. It's tattooed on his knuckles lol. If Em can claim he is a rap God. He is. Het is the undisputed riff God. Lol I personally think Robert is the the most talented musician in the band. But James is the riff God 😂
You say snare roll, I say slow-mo blast beats. :p Now hearing two songs off this album, Lars's drumming is the best it has ever sounded in a lot of years.
