The meaning behind the scenes that are like actual movies, is that its all based in the song THROUGH THE NEVER and is like a riot because thats what the song is about . I posted this because i have been asked by many people and i was also confused when i first saw the film too... I hope that answers some peoples questions.
ESTUBE EN EL METALLICA ARSENAL COMPLETO , EN EL PALACIO DE LOS DEPORTES EN LA CDMX , Y EN ESTA CACION FUE LA LOCURA , PRIMERO LA PIROTECNIA Y DESPUES EL SHOW DE LASSERS SIN DEJAR DE MENCION ESTE GRAN TEMA .
I think-as a twelve year fan of Metallica-that this is their best performance of One. I’m 34 years old, as of 2024. A message to Metallica: well Fuckin done!
there's just something about the use of the animations of WWI soldiers that adds a whole other element to the song. for me it's sad, the song is about the horrors of war and WWI was arguably one of the most brutal wars to ever be fought on this earth. WWI still has a sense of mythos to it, seeing that we never had as much media coverage of it on the frontlines that was front and center of the horror as opposed to how WWII was. maybe i'm also biased because I love WWI aesthetics for their honesty, brutality, and desperate cry for humanity.
I’ve always been a little confused by the helicopter sounds at the beginning of this song. Everything about this song screams “World War One.” But of course helicopters did not exist then.
yea they put on a show always interacts with the crowd best band spirit ive seen it alway great fireworks,im pissed thats the best ive seen his voise is back, ive seen them 4 times since 2003 the come back all them in ireland last one was 09, 03 james looked older nd his vocals were very bad i thought maybe he couldnt hit the high note with out the drink or either jasons bck up vocals were the missing link , 05 he was much better still not great 07 very good 09 he back to normal but man he looks 10 years younger and they always finish with "one" i always judged them on that but that was like a 90s version im fucking mad impressed hope they comes back ireland was always august or july every year no gigs in 5 years :(
@@jiveassturkey8849 I believe age has nothing to do for getting excess weight but discipline is. Look at rockstars older than james such as phil collen and the schenker brothers rudolf and michael, they look way better and younger than james
hot fuse Age definitely makes you gain weight. You’re metabolism gets slower the older you get. You don’t burn as many calories. Some people are naturally skinny due to genetics, some are not.
@@jiveassturkey8849 Back in the late 90s, rudolf schenker who was in his 50s gained excess weight but that was brief and he got back in shape. Aside from constant workout, rudolf also does yoga and I think his brother mike is into it as well. So there is no reason to let one's self go regardless of age. If older guys can do it, so is james.
Amazing show! So glad they were actually able to find a bassist that could play the shit cliff wrote.. You can hear the bass again, they aren't ashamed now, they can actually turn it up! Jason never fit in anyways, there was always something odd about him.
I wish, enter sandman is definitely and I'm not entirely happy with that. Not because I hate it or anything, it's just so overrated and pop-ish. Songs like holier than thou I feel are better and deserve more recognition.
While I know it's nothing to be fussed over, one thing did always bother me about this scene. the soldiers shown on the screens were clearly meant to be World War 1 soldiers, or I at least assume so from the tanks in the background, yet the weapons that they carrey appear to be weapons from the Second World War, namely the M1 Garand rifle and M1 Thompson submachinegun. just a thing i'd noticed, is all.
Coen van Haaster they probably just didnt give af. But I think since WW1 was the War to End all wars yet you hear sounds effects from ww2 (Planes Bombs Air raid sirens) And vietnam (helicopters & turret machine guns) as if the WW1 soldiers are foreshadowing future was. Then all the WW1 soldiers who died did so for nothing. Also I feel like the movie represents Cliff Burtons Death. The van flips and the window is smashed wide open. Like the bus Cliff died in cuz he flew out a window. When the van shows The Lightning is like the electric chair (death/ride the lightning reference ie. tribute the Cliff). The kid (Hetfield) is pissed at the driver and the driver doesn't do anything and runs away. Kinda like the bus driver avoided taking blame for the crash. Just my thoughts
Well just my guess here I'm thinking that it portrayed a timeline sort of starting the war to end all wars then going threw to Vietnam also agree with the guy saying its a tribute to cliff burton but I do think they new about the sound effects and stuff
Nunca se supo, hay quienes creemos que ahi dentro estaba el alma de Cliff, por eso era tan importante que lo llevara y ademas cuando logra dejar el maletín ellos están tocando Orion
