Metaphor: ReFantazio - Battle Theme (Regular) A loop I made for the battle theme you get after striking an enemy without an advantage. I'm not sure if this version of the loop has been uploaded yet, but it's amazing regardless!
Really does set the tone for the world and what threats it is facing. Every battle is a dance with death itself, and the journey ends with one mistake.
This battle theme fits two tones simultaneously. The first is a theme of caution. You intiated the battle on even footing, be mindful. The second, your error in judgement has put you in grave danger. The enemy will strike first, and on hard, it may be fatal.
that one moment in grand cathedral where you spot a chest guarded by a Homo Oppo, you tried sneaking behind it only for it to be aggro-ed and slams you immediately. and I'm playing in hard mode, so that fricking egg and a magic zombie wiped me in a single turn. 10/10 would hear this tune on my deathbed again
DUDE I feel you. You’ll see two homo fulquilo later in the cathedral. They have 1600 hp, will summon white wolves and ice resistant toothes and hit like a truck. I got ambushed by one because I was surprised of how fast it attacked. Entire party almost wiped, had to use revives and multiple healing items to make it through the fight. It buffs its mobs, has 4 TURNS, and hits like a truck. Literally I was so scared after that mistake because I’d lose like 20 minutes of progress. This game is extremely punishing on hard mode. It’s basically fighting the boss from the nord mines dungeon again but this time it’s a mini boss and there’s TWO of them and they can summon mobs to kill you
@@MonsterhunterFTWWTF I didn't have as difficult a time because I was lucky enough to bring a mage with ice spells into the fight, but it's still really rough to fight those two because your natural instinct is to assume they're weaker than the boss variant in the mines. Turns out, they're much harder.
It's more like an (ENEMY ADVANTAGE) theme on hard. Heck the vocals seems to be cheering for them LOL and is making you consider loading your last autosave. In a weird way seems to be driving home that "anxiety" feeling with the rift after the vocals... your not gonna have a good time.
@@solaymantadmori1447 seriously lmao they are way too expensive and ambitious in scope and not recouping their losses. Talking about they haven't met sales expectations. They literally killing themselves at this point 💀
Square is killing FF with their unrealistic expectations and massive budgets. The fact that FF16 can sell 3 million in a week on a single console and still not be enough for them says it all.
the tone of this has me interested in this game. this sounds odd for a normal battle theme. it's more like... a strange journey boss theme. is this game anything special?
For both versions of the battle theme, the instrumental and choir are properly epic and it sounds great. It's just that the buddhist monk mumble rap in the background is too silly and funny to take the battle themes seriously.
Agreed. the voice is distracting and the default volume is so loud it could be another gameplay indicator during the battle. Any talk should be reserved for character/npc-specific actions.
