"...But really, really it was your story telling. That is the true flower of free will, at least as you've mastered it so far. When you create stories you become gods of tiny, intricate dimensions unto themselves. So many worlds!" I am awed at these words and proud that they came from "Supernatural."
I love metatron. I know he's done bad things but I can't bear to hate him. He's like that one really geeky nerdy kid at school who's friends with a jock and tries so hard to be a cool kid. But that desperation makes him liked by some people. He's my favorite bad guy in the franchise Edit: I just now got to the part where he turned castiel's flock against him and talks about it and, yea this guy's a dick. Another edit: these writers need to calm the fuck down now this dude is poor and modest but still kinda a douche I don't know how to feel about him wtf
@@noahthompson5010 Because I'm not allowed to have an opinion to you or because you really want people to believe that entertainment is objective instead of subjective?
ReyaitheShadowWolf I love him, but the character of Metatron I really don’t like because he betrayed Cas and he killed Dean! Even with his sacrificing himself to Amara I still don’t like him at all. One of my most favorite moments of Metatron’s character was when Cas takes his grace and Sam shoots him in the leg. Another is Cas punching him in the face.
@@garionfan1 Of course, most of us don't like Metatron, but you've got to admit Curtis Armstrong did a great job playing him ;) I don't think anyone could've played him better, his expressions and body language and the way he talks, it's just amazing ❤️
this is why i have mixed feelings toward metatron; he hurt and manipulated cas and heaven, but also seems to think the world of humans and humanity. COMPLEXITY!
“I have read... as much as it’s possible for an Angel to read and I haven’t caught up!” 😁 I love that line! I especially absolutely love his sheer excitement and enthusiasm in how he says it! 👍 Such a great line. As a fellow Bookworm myself I can really relate to Metatron‘s overjoyed obsession with books and his passionate love of reading and storytelling.
Let´s enjoy the phase where Metatron is still a positive character in the Supernatural in this video (he also saves Kevin Tran shortly after this scene).
Exactly my feelings. It's like, he *gets* me as a writer, but he's a horrible, horrible person. But he *gets* me! But I *hate* him! But he's a fellow writer! But he's a douchenozzle!
i get why they call him a coward and betrayer, and so on after they hear him out, i do. but on the other hand, he didnt have some xtra angel juice, he's not a fighter, regardless of what body he took. he was just a secretary, and even if he used his knowledge to fight back against the arch angels, they are still archangels. as well as all of heaven, and he couldn't risk letting them have all that knowledge. and yea he was frightened, he was weak, he was a coward, but i agree he chose the smartest option.
It's definitely been a running theme though. Look at the whole Team Free Will thing. It's all about accepting humanity, flaws and all. We love Cas cause he's more human than most angels, but most Angels are douchebags. Lol. I loved this speech though. Great writing.
Metatron's place reminds me of my room..too many books piled up on bookshelves and don't even start me on the CD's and DVD's!. So many stories..not enough of a lifetime to get through them all!. THAT'S the problem!. Always liked this scene in the series despite Metatron being a bit of a "shady" character later on..
Its sad he went out the way he did. He went from hero to villain to hero to villain to heroic death. I get the feeling he would love the ending to chuck. Of all the ironic ways for it to end this was the perfect one. Even chuck himself was caught off guard by it all. Sadly no one seemed to care what happened to him after amara went after him. What a pity.
Please. Humans don't even really die. He intended to send him to heaven to remove him as an obstacle. Instead he was forced into a corrupted state of life.
Well, that makes more sense than the idea that fairies are born when a baby first laughs (see movie, Tinker Bell). Because this explains why soo many fairies have English accents...
Ofcourse he likes it, his verse sucks. And most of the media we consume also exist there, so bro reading Marvel, Jojo, Dc, and more clasic literature even the one that already gone. And probably jelaous af, because the cosmic being there is not really getting beat up by basic human strenght and intelect 😂
