Two Metea Valley High School students have gone viral.
That’s thanks to this heartwarming video that has touched the lives of many.
Seen here is 16-year-old Jake Martin surprising his 17-year-old girlfriend Emily Deangelo with a cookie cake and a cheering crowd to ask her to homecoming.
It’s no surprise Emily said yes! The two have been dating for about a year, and clearly have fond feelings for each other.
“I like Emily because she is perfect,” said Jake.
“I like Jake because he’s handsome and sweet to me,” said Emily.
The video has gotten hundreds of thousands of views on social media sites, including a posting on Buzzfeed, with comments sure to make everyone smile.
“I just think it’s amazing, I love this school, it’s been perfect since day one,” said Susie Deangelo, Emily’s mom.
“Back when we were going to school it was never like this, and in this day and age it’s great to see,” added Tom Martin, Jake’s Dad.
While the homecoming dance is in the books, the two are still working out dinner plans.
