Ron Metchis updates us on his backlit displays and reveals the final product, his third back lit slice of Pallasite meteorites. This one is the “Queen of Pallasites”: Esquel from Argentina. It is remarkable!
Chris Colvin hangs out with us and we get nostalgic over some Howardite. But, you gotta see his massive (143g) slice of El Hammami a beautiful Olivine rich H5.
Pat Brown shows a possible CV2 Carbonaceous find that will be classified at Florida State University. Pat educates us about Meteor Crater sandstone. He has great examples of it in both shocked and unshocked forms. Lunar slice, say no more!
Cameron Smith shows his new (8-19-20) witnessed fall stone and hammer roof tile from recent Santa Filomena Brazil. Our friend, Raymond Charles of Spacerocks, traveled down there to acquire these rare cosmic gifts.
I show off my newest main mass. It is my first sizeable Ureilite Achondrite, NWA 13239. I own 218g of the 275g TKW single stone. I was very happy that Mbark Arjdal, Top Mark Meteorites and I made the deal and he included a 3.2g slice of his classified Lunar feldspathic breccia, Tisserlitine 001. What a gracious gift - Thank you so much!
James Shelton shares his 200BC meteorite coins. We talk Murchison and I show some Martian Lherzolitic Shergottites currently for sale.
Juan Aviles from www.Jurassic-Dreams.com checks in from Spain again with all the latest on the new Carbonaceous witnessed fall near Errachidia City, Morocco on August 25th 2020 at 3:20pm. He shows us a beautiful small oriented sample. We discuss the price / value of this unknown (unclassified) meteorite both in the field and to collectors.
