Prepare Method Feeder Pellets
I get asked how to prepare pellets for the Method feeder a lot, as it such an effective tactic whether you are carp fishing, bream fishing, or just general coarse fishing. Using the right pellets and preparing them in the right way is important, but not difficult, once you have the right bait and know the easy steps to prepare them correctly. So, watch this video and I'll show you how to get it right every time.

Good advice as usual Paul 👍 This is a method I use to prepare pellets as well. Another tip is, if you are fishing in very deep water, a binder like PV1 or even horlicks will help bind the pellets ensuring they don’t break up before reaching the bottom. Simply give the pellets a light dusting and agitate and they will ‘stick’ together for much longer.

Hi Wayne, yep that is a very good point deep water can cause problems, which the binder will solve. A lot of the time these days I just use a small amount of groundbait if I need the pellets to bind together better (or a pinch of sticky pellets mixed in). This works well if you want to use larger pellets, like 4-6mm as well. Of course, you might not want to introduce any groundbait, but I've not found that a little bit does any harm. Good advice Been using method for years in various shapes and forms but the timing per minute with the pellet size is a good yard stick to go by.. Thanks

Best pellets i've ever found for the method were the Bait Tech sticky method (micro) pellets, i'd prepare them with the Dynamite baits XL molasses additive in the water, caught loads on those.
