@@yungsammysosa6201 I can't relate to that specifically because I can't rap...but when I was younger and got phone numbers I'd smile ear to ear as my guys watched in amazement at how attractive the females were (maybe not the best comparison but those were some good times 🤔).
You got to realize that the second he starts to spit Rza gets a smile... and ghosts start to sit down already grinnin that shit is fire Staten Island forever baby
Dwight Hardwick Ghost likes that stuttering line so much he did it on his next single “Conditioning” at 3:26 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MrqYjK4k5no.html
I'm hood like the C on my hood call me the Champion. they say we wildin' out in these streets, we poppin' cannons' and that heat peel 'em, put 'em to sleep like poppin' ambien. rappers havin' panic attacks, go pop a xanny then. we pop everywhere that you at, we'll pop your family then. Wu Block, real and you not - make you a fan again. turn around like Tupac, spit it right at the cameraman. Meth man handle 'em, no strings no mandolin, I spit the gggutter, no sstststtutter or stammerin, t-touchin, or tamperin' whip my groupie for samplin' uuuuundisputed call me the champion.
Also, the line before that was about "no strings no mandolin" and mandolin strings used to be made out of cat gut. So he "spit the gut gut gutter..." 🔥🔥🔥
@@isaacshepard1474 Valid point. But not for nothing, working in a barbershop Whenever I informed a young cat about hip hop or any genre of music, whether it was about a group, or a beat or a sample, and I wouldn't say it in a condescending way but just to let them know where something originated...it would go in one ear and out the other. I'm not gonna say all the young cats don't really care but a vast majority don't care about where a reference comes from
YouAwakeYet I 100% agree with you on that point bro, it's sad to see that most of them just think something sounds hot and don't even care to respect the history or origin of it. Most of the people my age just want a hot beat, but there are still a good amount that do care.
0:26 he mentions Tupac spitting at the cameraman, then he starts stuttering like how Tupac actually spit at the cameraman. You guys have to see the footage of Tupac spitting at the cameraman to realize how legendary this 30 second freestyle is. Tupac is wearing a Detroit Redwings jersey, he fake-spits at a cameraman and then Methodman then uses Tupacs spit ratio as a beat.... COME ON!!
@@marwanidrisovsinger Eminem is a good lyricist, not god level like a lot of you guys say he is. More rappers who are just as good and better than him than y’all realize.
This level of rhyming is what made the 90s so unique. It was an era where you had to be creative and unique in order to get respect from your peers and the fans. Long live 90s rap!
Method Man always nice on Mic., getting props from Ghostface Killah must feel good to say the least.. like he says at the end of the clip.. if these Brothers like it, I know its official - "Wu Tang Clan is nothing to.." (you know the rest) Love these guys 👌🏾
Such a brotherhood 🙌🏾. They are brothers like in the blood man. We are not going to find another group like this where at the members can rap at a top tier level and have a dope ass producer in the crew too. This Made me tear up at what meth said at the end “I still write my rhymes to impress these dudes here. I know if they like it, my shit official”. Wu is forever 👐🏾
Ugghh. I LOVE Meth man. The fact that he still respects the art form and it still matters what he writes and puts out. That's a true definition of a true artist. I LOVE HIP HOP FOR LIFE. It's not a fad for me it's LIFE..... It's a lifestyle
Meth has always said his mission was to impress the core WU members (Rae ghost rza Gza odb) and if they think it’s fire 🔥 then he on one ☝️ so cool that scene- all of a sudden they all 20yrs old
I always will have a preference of which Wu member who I prefer to listen to. However, I got time for all of them and don't like comparing them with who is better than the other. They all have skills and had powerful verses through their history making music. This Meth verse is magical
For me, Wu Tang are like a SpecOp Team of Operators. I don't compare, because they each bring their own talents. Like comparing a Medic to a Recon/Sniper to Demo/Engineers... No point. You put them together, they the A-Team - The Wu Team.... The Wu-Tang Clan. Each day of my life calls up a different squad. Sometimes the whole Team, sometimes maybe just a Dirty Specialist ;)
@@maxalvarez5223 When I say no hate, member to member, I'm referring to the props Ghost, Rza, and the other members are giving Meth without hate...I'm not implying that I'm a long lost member (as you put it) who's giving (another member) Meth props. For that reason, your sarcastic reply falls short of success yet again (how do I know you've failed at being sarcastic in the past you may ask?...it's because as good as you are at failing in this instance, this can't possibly be your 1st time).

The part when Cappadonna says they all go way back all their mothers know each other then about to say all their fathers but smiles and hesitate "nah" lol
There was a time people (still happens in certain crowds) were people shutter and scoff at Method Man being put in a top 5 or being called a favorite...these people clearly don't listen...any beat, feature or concept Meth has been on point...timing, cadence, relevance and unique...but still BARS!
True artist at work!! Wutang is a collection of some of the best MC's the game has ever seen, Method man is a lyrical genius and the master of flow, nothing but respect and love for the whole clan!
he just sitting there looking like a child about to see his best friends smile almost bigger than his face could hold just spitting conducting a sermon wu forever
