@@Mathewson1G I think its to bypass the reduction in RP you get when you try to grind vehicles that are higher tiered, i.e. if you try to grind for a rank 5 in a rank 3 vehicle, you gain less RP, and this just bypasses it
@@MuseumFreedom Essentially you need a low tier vehicle that hasnt been researched, then use a midtier premium with a premium account to make it even better. You can use the rest of the research that was extra from finishing the low tier vehicle. And since your midtier vehicle has less research efficiency at only one rank above and below for researchables and one rank above and all below for premiums, you gain the research on the vehicle without losing any to the efficiency tax. Aka rp evasion
@@infraredds8689ok so I’m a bit confused still say that I have a mid tier prenium vehicle (rank 4) and I want to research another rank four vehicle would this method still work
After playing this tiring game for 1,814 hours I now find myself seeing this and being split between being grateful and seething at the fact I didn't realize this sooner.
Exactly. If they saw this as a big problem then they would try to stop it. From my understanding, you still need to buy premium and then you will need the millions of SL to purchase them. Then the other millions of SL to purchase modifications and upgrade crews to expert and so on. I play sim exclusively and do pretty well most of the time. My RP gain is already 10x faster than SL gain and have most planes researched by playing fighters as bombing is mind numbingly boring but i cant afford the planes and jets because SL earnings are too low After buying premium to do this, do you then pay real money for SL so you can use them effectively in battle?
@@T_BG_TRRR no pure premiums already come fully modified However marketplace vehicles come with stock equipment And we know how the regular tech tree SL grind goes
@@T_BG_TRRR actually I don't think it would matter you know Being forced to pay to get ahead in the tech tree or paying like 20-50€/$ to buy a fully modified premium doesn't really make a difference It both works the same way Monetization of frustration Not a good strategy for an entertainment product
- research a tier 1 vehicle - get it as close as u can to the end of the research - get a high tier premium to finish the research with / even a random vehicle with a booster would work - finish the research and use the excess rp on the vehicle you want to research
@@Daliaxez So you still have to pay money to Gaijin by buying premium just in order to make your RP grind a little easier all while still probably not having enough SL to actually purchase them anyway. I play sim exclusively and do pretty well most of the time. My RP gain is already 10x faster than SL gain and have most planes researched from not spending a penny but i cant afford them because SL earnings are too low What happens after this exploit when you cant actually afford them? Get your wallet out and pay for SL?
It will make sense only if you use a good farming lower rank premium plane. You can remove the "tier gap" with this. (you have a tier V premium plane and you need to research a tier VII plane.) So you don't need to buy a higher tier premium planes. This method works but only if you have no high rank premiums or you are too lazy to play on higher ranks. Also this method will work until you out of low ranks to research.
I'm still not getting how the calculation works. I also tried it and I'm not understanding. I did 3k RP (premium+booster) and I could allocate 5k RP. I didn't see the big increase
If I'm getting this right, you put a high their in your lineup then put the rest in your lineup as bad br rating vehicles and the multiplier gives you a lot of research?
(i know this is old) no. Let's say you needed 500 more rp to finish researching a vehicle, and you play a battle where you get 2000 rp. The research window will pop up asking where do you want to spend the remaining 1500 rp. Well there's no limit for that surplus. So the idea is that you start researching some cheap low tier vehicle using a low tier lineup and when you're about to complete the research, you activate a big booster. That way you will hopefully get many thousands of rp. Some rp will be spent to finish the vehicle and the rest you can put on any vehicle you want, even a rank 7 or 8, with no penalty.
@_invencible_ i mean whats the difference you will get the same rp any way ,what will happen if you had just a bit till your research the low tier aircarft and the rest of the rp you put on a high rank , whats the difference
@@commanderhm379 there is differences, when you research very high tier vehicles with some tier 2-4 stuff, you get a massive penalty. look for the "maximum research efficiency"(something along the lines of that) and you can see which ranks it will research at full efficiency and which ranks it gets a massive penalty if you research, say, a vehicle and only need 1 rp left to purchase it(typical) then activate a big booster, premium(optional), use premium vehicle(optional), play rb or sim(this is all air), preferably sim because one session lasts fucking forever and no one knows where everyone else is, so bomb everything you see and boom, 300k+ rp and like (insert millions of sl here) sl. then when you completed the research, you will see that the game prompts you to decide on the next research with your 300k+ rp -1. now you can choose a higher tier vehicle without penalty
So is there some kind of RP multiplier for low rank vehicles which allows all this excess RP even by just doing mission objectives in Air RB? And does it still work?
It’s basically trick the system to think you are researching a low tier vehicle (whatever tier the vehicle you just finished researching). However, rather than spending all the rp you gain after, you store them up (you can keep doing this until you actually decide to use it). Usually I use low tier premium to do this so when researching high tier vehicle there will not be any penalty.
@@mohammedmohsen723 when you finish researching a vehicle A and there are extra rp left, the system will tell you to choose the next vehicle to research. At this step, go to your inventory (top right corner) and then quit to the normal menu. And there you go, you are storing up the rp. If you decide to use it, quit the game and log back in. Repeat the previous step every time you login. This method allows you to research high tier vehicle with low tier vehicle without any penalty (the system think you are still researching at A’s rank)
acquired RP is less if the vehicle youre researching is several tiers above. as such, you research a low-tier vehicle (so you get more RP out of a mission), and since research is really easy to complete on low tier vehicles, you can then spend the rest of the RP you got on the vehicle you want to actually research. i think.
could you explain it a lil better? i have premium but can i use a toptier jet or no? i dont get it how is it any diffrent from just normal grinding.@@Daliaxez
I don't understand lol, like do i have to play a match before that to get the RP required to fully research a vehicle then I play that low tier vehicle?? Like rn I don't have any low tier vehicles to research 💀
@@bilaldemir5252 when you finish researching a vehicle and there's some spare RP left (green one in top left corner) you can pick a next plane to research and not like when researching normally with the penalties for different rank, this one will get added to any plane you pick without those penalties, so let's say you researched F16C with F15, you have some of that spare RP, you put it on rank 1 plane, the amount of RP researched on that rank 1 is gonna be equal to the amount taken from that top left Pool
broo almost 4 years ago you could earn 25k research points in an arcade game, without premium and on br 4.3, but now you would have to kill entire enemy team on higher br realistic and with premium account to do that. When we add to that that many vehicles have been added since then and require a lot more rp to research.... You see what gaijin is doing? after the infamous review bomb they are getting back to their habbits
Its cause this is when war thunder was in its golden age and grinding wasnt a pain, see back then it was much easiser to obtain rp and you could grind a whole tree in a few weeks with a 3.0 plane
You get a RP penalty when you research ranks that are higher or lower in rank than the vehicle your are researching with. Using this technique negates that penalty.
