I've never seen such a crossing gate does that the one in Kankakee doesn't that and I'm like down there and everyday and when the train stopped crossing gates stay down if it's not on the street and the intersection of the crossing gate then the gates will go back up and then the cars can go through but if the train goes to and stops on the street the gates will have to stay there until the train passes away
Well I was going to say that can't be but if I'm correct the gates usually needs a electrical current to be activate. I could be wrong but.either way very strange.
These cars are going into storage in the siding in Deerfield and will most likely be scrapped. Metra is receiving new electric cars from Nippon Sharyo and are being built in Rochelle, IL
