Nice video as always Adam! My friend and I are looking into riding the line so we can complete our goal of riding every Metra line

I'm a born- and chiefly raised- Chicagoan, and Chi is in my blood to this day in my advanced stage of life...but now I've lived in Wiesbaden, Germany for fully half a century, and Germany's railroads have sorta spoiled me, particularly the localized rapid-transit commuter systems. How comes it that this Metra train had to take until around 33rd Street to even begin to pick up some speed? In Germany's rapid transit systems they're up to cruising speed (+-65 mph) in seconds! Once this train gets going, it goes!, yes, but it takes lotsa time! JAT
