Metre plus jewfish Gold Coast bait grounds

In this episode Alex and i head out to a mark just off the seaway chasing big jew fish with live bait. This spot seems to always hold alot of bait and produce big fish. I havent managed to land anything under a metre there. Key tips for targeting these big jew are (big ball sinker on the nose of the live bait, fish half a metre above the bottom as jew fish are a lazy fish. @@lucamiceli3409 not the Scottish prince although I do think there would be jew fish on that mark. Just look for a group of boats jigging bait and go over there and drop a live bait to the bottom with the same rig I use on the episode. You should stop into Doug Burt’s tackle world and have a chat to the boys there they have a lot of gps marks to get you started 🎣 great fishing gear there too

Cool video, when targeting jewfish do you always find them on the sounder before you start fishing for them

amen tight lines! she works well on the whiting too haha. we will have to go out for a snapper on the 18's when the water cools down a bit. see if I can't get you not a 80cm + just out side the seaway
