Even as a long time stan. It takes multiple listens to get into certain songs. Some hit at the moment. And others take some Seasoning and then become favourites. Since @metri is listening to some old drum beats that may not feel fresh I think that might be the issue for not liking some bass lines. Some of the older trip hop basic beats. But to me they’re classic and part of the songs from the 2012-2015 era.
It’s fine it wasn’t picked, I read someone comment saying that the last James Bond movie sucked and Lana can’t be associated with anything sucking or less than 💯😂 she said she’ll keep trying to be on a James Bond film so they better put her on the best James Bond film.
Honeymoon has aged like the most perfect fine wine I swear. It’s sooooo good & relaxing. It can put me to sleep like a lullaby & like someone is cradling me. I’m mad it’s so underrated tbh.
the best way to describe lana's music is that, it seems like she knows something we don't. like she speaks to god in a manner in which we can't. her music is ethereal.
A swan song is what u call a performers last time performing, it’s based on the myth that a swan sings a final song right before it dies. Lana said that she was at a point in her career where she wanted to quit cus of how bad the media and critics hated her n she rlly wanted to never sing again when she wrote that song
"The swan song is a metaphorical phrase for a final gesture, effort, or performance given just before death or retirement. The phrase refers to an ancient belief that swans sing a beautiful song just before their death while they have been silent for most of their lifetime."

Yeahhh exactly it’s one of my fav songs on the album I LOVE the beat but his reaction didn’t surprise me bc I knew it wasn’t his type of song judging by all his reactions to the other albums
This is one of my fave albums, so it’s really hard to believe how underrated it is! Honestly there’s nothing else like this album; it’s magic, it’s an experience, it’s poetry. Lana DID that.
Literally…. Lana is Art. Even after listening to HM 500x plus. Rewatching the lyrics to this reaction by @metri astonishes me how deliberate her timing and skillfully written everything Lana does. Immaculate.
Honeymoon is my favorite album of hers. I still remember listening it for the first time. It sounded so majestic and somehow peaceful at the same time. It comforts me every time I listen to it and definitely during summer time / sunset. I edit videos on my channel and love using her songs and I also used Freak for an edit.
I love how different some of the songs are in this album. Salvatore and 24 are two of my favorites. I think The Blackest Day will grow on you too, it did for me.
💙💙❤️🔥❤️🔥 OH YEAAAHHH!! We heaaaaaa, The fact that your shirt has Blues on it and you stood up when she was singing it, and that’s literally one of Lana’s favorite colors, I love ittt 😩😩🔥🔥 You HAVE to do Lust For Life next PLEASE! 😂😭
Finallyyyyy!!!! I LOVE this album and have been dying for you to listen :'D. I remember driving down the coastline with this album playing loud in the car and I was absolutely LEVITATING. I will remember that forever!
Metri all that waiting was worth it!! This is actually the only Lana album that I haven’t listened to so I was reacting right along with you! Can’t wait for your future reactions!!!
i just read somewhere that "when im down on my knees you're how i pray" (religion) has a sexual meaning and i wanted to comment that bc wtf that's so genius of her 😭🙏
I dont know how we all lived without hearing lana for as long as we did (we all heard it here and there growing up but never appreciated it) for someone as popular as lana del rey she needs way more credit and deserves to be idolized by more people for all shes been through unlike people (which no offense to) like taylor swift, ariana grande and miley cirus who have grew up rich. Lana proves that you can do anything no matter where you come from growing up poor or not. Thats why I love her so much.
I've been waiting two months for you to do a reaction to the "Lust for Life" album, please don't take so long I'm so excited I've been following u since the first Lana reaction.
You can't imagine how much I was waiting for the reaction to "Honeymoon" it's one of my favorite albums, I laughed so much at your reaction, it's crazy, make nostalgic around 2015, my favorite song is 24, this part 53:33, mainly that final bridge, my soul leaves my body ❤
I had no idea this album existed. I added seven of these songs to my playlist on the first listen. Great job on your channel. People need to subscribe!
you give the best reactions ever, I'm from Argentina and I only watched 2 of your videos cause just found your channel and you are wowwww, the best i ever watched... keep being yourself pls
You should’ve seen her recent interview where she addresses “24” being for a James Bond movie. I feel like you would’ve loved the way she talked she sounded like a fairy godmother fr
