The way the bass line rises for a few notes in the middle of the riff is outstanding. Lifts it above the usual jump up tracks for me. Absolute banger 🔥

@@st1gmatic134 1min14, or 1min37 or 1min59 or 3min49. Basically the little switch up on the repetitive bassline note every 4th bar. Its what makes it sound so energetic.

@@kristoffscuba5466 its actually just adjusting the frequency cutoff bringing its range in to a more focused frequency - this makes it seem cleaner and louder its a commong trick for bass and leads, done so well in this track I absolutly love how much metrik perfectly mixes his tracks

Freefall VIP has always been my all time classic so it gets annoying when he only transitions it in his sets for like 20 seconds. But Starchaser is euphoric as hell, that whole album is.

You guys are aware a VIP mix just means it's the creator remixing their own tune (probably in their own style funnily enough). Not a brand spanking new track that's going to break the barriers of sound.

Yep adding that it means Variation In Production. It means it can be just a remastering or a remixed version with different tempo !

it just speaks by itself thats variation in the production which means different version than the first released, version made in the production process but doubted which one should be released first, or not planned to release it at all... neither remix or remastered version

That very slight note change really makes all the difference, would always play this version over the original because of it. Wont mean much to most people as all they hear is the same riff and bass sound, and just think "It's exactly the same", but it's a definite improvement in my opinion.

There's not really any 'note change', this version just makes the chord changes more audible. It's a nice touch to make it seem less monotone

People saying this sounds too similar to the original... it's a VIP not a remix it can be as subtle a change as the artist wants, no expectation that they'll completely switch it up. I personally love it, each to their own of course but don't knock it just because it's not that different from the original!

Scrotum scrambler!!! These are the tunes that get you dancing, got an older feel to it with the melody line. Could do with more of these party tunes. ATM way too many tunes that sound more like a feat in engineering and/or musically bland. Need more vibe tracks like that make you want to dance wherever you are.
