Shawn not noticing that "I Can't Save You (Interlude)" is a continuation of "Metro Spider" is the biggest tragedy of all time. These are the hardest songs ever.
@@brandoncosbyjr.7097 I Don't Wanna Know by Mario Winans which also sampled the same song as Ready Or Not by the Fugees called Boadicea by Enya. You're A Customer by EPMD is the drum switch up
Shawn Cee gotta put respect on Metro Boomin’s name. You didn’t expect much? MB been a legend! “Mask Off”, “Father Stretch My Hands”, “Skyfall”, “Bad & Bougie”, “Tunnel Vision”, the whole “What A Time To Be Alive”. The list honestly goes on and on. You’re trippin if you think that Metro isn’t THAT guy lmao
totally agree, "Perfect Timing" with Nav too which was easily Navs best album in my opinion, and so many tracks with A Boogie, would've loved to see him on here
He just gotta have respect for the artists that he doesn’t personally like, he just flames on travis the whole time and then he be vibing as hell on young thug.. like LMAO man cmon what trav just did to you? He didn’t sign your tee at his live so now you’re mad at him?
@@Angelo-dn1zp i don't wanna know- mario winans is what the weeknd is singing. metro also sampled the fuguees song "ready or not" into the beginning of "creepin"

Fr? I thought the production was great, but most tracks felt like background music.. wasn’t bad - just didn’t feel as strongly as some of the comment section does…
As someone that really likes good production of music, the transitions between each song was my absolute favorite aspect of this album and it really showcased the mastering of his craft

I hope more rappers make more albums calling back to sounds from like 2015 to 2018, been missing that nostalgic sound lately and this album is just about perfect at tapping into that
This happens all the time in music there will be a return to that sound in a decade once the younger gen "rediscover" music from that era and try to recreate it. Just like how the late 2000s-early 2010s recreated the 90s boom bap sound that created the Mac Miller, Joey Badass, ASAP Rocky, etc.
maybe its a reach, but i love the larger presence of travis and 21. my takeaway was travis was the main hero, 21 the main villain. i liked how they served as anchors of the album.
The album was masterpiece my fav was with The Weeknd and 21s track creepin Abel flowed in this beat with his vocals and 21 went off as usual. Travis Scott went off on some songs and Don and young thug went off as usual
Really good album in my opinion, really enjoyed the listening experience especially that transition from track 8 to track 9. There were some low points, but that was expected, and I'm glad Niagara Falls finally got an official release.
bro his disrespect to travis is so real travis has never really been known as a “great rapper” but it’s just what he does on songs and his voice and his flows he just makes shit sound so good he doesn’t need actual bars
One of the best people will see for a long time until Metro decides to make another one! Every song is brilliantly balanced and the transitions kill it 🐐
@@Aquafiy how is a song mid for being leaked. U probably listened to it for a good amount of time thought it was fire. But now since it’s released it’s mid? Does that make sense😂???
To all y’all talking about a lack of diversity in features, the whole point of this album is to have a specific cast of characters. Half are heroes and half are villains. Just like in Marvel or DC.
I get that it's supposed to be thematic, but that doesn't excuse the album for being boring in that aspect. The filler tracks really become forgettable when it's the same 3 people. If Lock on Me wasn't there, literally nothing would change
The snoozers for me were don toliver and Travis. Same flows, same melodic crooning, same topics over the best beats metro has made EVER. Too Many Nights deserved a spitter, not don toliver
I agree with your views on wanting him to be more resourceful, but I think every track here is fire. Top 10 AOTY for me but I understand some people feeling underwhelmed
I think the whole point of having minimal features is to fit in with the whole “heroes vs villains” narrative. Off few listens I think Future & Don Toliver are the heroes and 21 & Travis are the villains. But that’s just how I view it right now. Regardless, album is fire - metro’s production is top tier 🔥
@@volt3091 yeah that’s true🤣 I don’t know tho, maybe that’s him realising that he can’t be the hero. Not sure. Gotta listen more for sure. Maybe travis is a hero. Don toliver definitely hero and 21 definitely villain but yeah
@@floriniamandi489 yeah he definitely ain’t a hero, you’re right😂 but the second track of the album he does say “turn me to a superhero” so I dunno.. just the concept for the album aint it haha
He said in an interview that he wanted the features to be like characters in a movie. So having 21 on many tracks could be because he is one of the "characters" in the album.

The "Creepin" clip I just saw on tiktok & it was the first time I've seen you. Love that your music catalog was able to be opened up so deep to humb the beat to the vibe. New supporter.
Am I the only who sees Superhero and Around me as the favourites in this album. Such a great choice to put Don Toliver on and his sonic sound reminds me of 2016 Travis🔥
the weeknd and 21 been trying to collab for a while, theres another leaked track with them (Another one of me by the weeknd) metro still goated for linking them on creepin
