I love the sound of the Metro as it leaves because it makes different noises and sounds and the when you walk by there’s a person standing there with instruments. And also when I’m sleeping I can hear music whilst the video is playing and you walk by that person who has the instruments and the music playing.
The Montreal Metro used to make a similar sound. It is from the electric motors changing power in steps. It was so distinctive, the Montreal Metro incorporated it into their door closing chimes.

6:22 Love this three tone sound when the train starts moving until it fades away, and 6:43 when it enters the station. So sad new trains doesn't do it.

Honesty we have 3 metro systems in Ukraine + 1 metrotrain. Now they are working with restrictions, but its so important to have such shell here. For example, Barcelona is the city with the population like Kharkiv but has >150 stations. When we have only 30 and 3 lines. Its ok, but at this moment of the russian war/genoside agains Ukrainians the count of shells become really important.
Metro of barcelona is a sauna, no air cons on platforms, pickpockets all the time, needs a lot of refurbishing. Not comparable to the one in madrid. I lived in both cities

Anton V. The L9sud ,L9nord ,L10 and L11 doesn't have driver. It has the ATC (automatic train control). The rest of the lines have ATO (automatic train operation) ,except the L4, wich have ATP
