@@javiertorreszamora3831 what about a fusion "remake" in the 3-d first person "behind the visor" style of the prime games? For me at least, that would be such a "shut up and take my money already" idea!
Wow, this really does sound like a track from Prime while keeping what makes the original sound great. Clicked off the tab and almost forgot I was listening to a Fusion remix for a second lol
I always love underwater themes in Metroid and the Metroid prime style instruments because the unknown underwater predators lurking within etc and this remix shows why I love the underwater music in Metroid good job with this remix I look forward to more of your prime remixes👌
Good lord. THIS is not just a remix. This feels like THE remix. There are barely any good remixes of AQA let alone DEEP AQA. You really know your stuff.
At the time of writing this comment, only 456 views is a crying shame. You've done an absolutely fantastic job in this and I could totally hear this being in Metroid Prime with the underwater pirate frigate section. Absolutely gorgeous ambience with a beautiful harp sample. 10/10, absolutely love it. Feeling inspired to cover more metroid music after listening to this.
481 now. Amazing point I hadn't even noticed. This is so well done and feels familiar in a way that made me think it was a popular remix recommended back to me. Maybe with odds like that, we are really the target audience.
Absolutely wonderful composition ! I'm so glad all of these old tracks are getting a new lease on life, Fusion was one of the first handheld games I ever remember playing.
This is a great remix. Very Prime-esque, but it also really makes me think of Rayman 3, funnily enough, with a little bit of Super Mario Galaxy's ambience.
Woah, your take on this Sec4 underwater area needs more views. I dig that subtle percussion FX and Metroid Prime 1+2 aesthetic. LOVE that sine wave lead especially - it feels alive! The vocal backings that appear to segue into the 2nd half are a nice touch too. This may well be my favourite GBA-troid remix to date. Nice work!
I'm still under the opinion that Metroid Fusion would make a fucking phenomenal 3D FPS game like the prime trilogy. If done right it could legitimately qualify as a sci-fi horror, if they made it dark enough and pumped up the soundtrack remixes to be as eerie as possible. And honestly, the title theme alone still gives me goosebumps because it sounds so haunting.
@@NobleRaider2747 I played prime 3 and was a insanely pain to play. Yes the motion controls were a huge part of why it was an awful experience, but not just that, but all those nonsensical planets visits instead of one big planet like is supposed to.
@@Raylightsen making it all a bunch of different planets made the game more interesting and varied- Prime 3 I started off on the Wii U (with motion controls), but I ended up restarting it and finishing it on PC with PrimeHack (Dolphin modded with KB+M support for the Prime Trilogy)- now that was a breeze
So, I've been running around, listening to various Fusion soundtrack remakes, and while there's so much great stuff out there, none of them managed to do this specific piece justice. I don't know what they did, but some notes just weren't left "hanging" in the right way, making everything sound a bit rushed. This version doesn't have that problem at all, and it really is the remake that finally surpasses the original.
Thank you so much, you're too kind. The lilting feel, especially in the beginning sections, is such a big part of the piece's character, and recreating that was really important to me
You struck a great balance between adding more without taking away from the original. Perfectly captures that feeling of being on edge in the calm unknown. The percussion really reminds me of R-Type Command's music, especially around 2:20.
