Tool-Assisted Speed run by Hoandizi A hack by SBniconico Hoandizi allowed me to upload this TAS (and the rest), any question please PM him! More info of the hack go to metroidconstruction.com Thank you for watching!
Just watched him finish it (on YT) 28 hours. Crazy tricks that need to be done. Watching this after that is like a joke. Just Oats trying to get Varia was insane
In case this TAS ever gets an update, at 31:44 and 32:40, he could have killed those enemies by using Pseudo-Screw Attacks (since he has Charge Beam, but can also be done with Screw Attack) to cut some waiting time, because, for some reason, the game sometimes counts as killing two enemies at once when doing so. Also, that would allow moving through that room with the lights on, making it easier to see what's going on and would probably be easier to TAS as well. Just a minor thing I wanted to point out, though. This TAS is great as it is.
I took your advice and I set out to do a 100% TAS, in fact the pirates also count as enemies to open the door. Here you can find the full video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Q3IeN0V88Js.html
The hack itself is not joking, this is pretty hard. And you require to do some (but not all) of the things seen in the TAS. It's not the simple "double damage, double health enemies and bosses" type of buff. It's hard.
Wonder why Hoandizi deleted his YT channel... I mean, he with saturnTAS were the best doing this... at least saturn is still (sorta) uploading content.
@@CaptRiskyBoots - From further reading that I recall, the copystrike was from a Japanese Game Show, the episode in question was where real life Hoandizi showed up in. He wanted to show his appearance, but the studio behind the game show wasn't having it.
I liked it until he used the X-Ray beam to glitch past stuff. I know you can do that in TAS, but it frustrating because no human could ever do that, and thefore you don't get to see stuff.
