Metroid Tallon IV Overworld theme - Relax Rainy edition 

I will never forget this music. It was so epic.

Back here after the Prime Remaster still so soothing

So, I dug the Wii out of the closet, ordered Gamecube Metroid Prime double disk with Echoes and started playing. In 2020, I sometimes forget what amazing thoughtfully crafted games used to feel and sound like. I'm not saying all games are bad now. But there's just a different feeling playing games from an era where there's no microtransactions and pay to win junk. And this particular music sort of reminds me of a time when video games were just so freaking good. The theme and storyline of this game particularly, with the greed and indifference of the Space Pirates, pollution, and the extinction of the beautiful Chozo, I don't know, it's like an eerie, unsettling premonition of what was coming for the industry etc. Anyway, thanks for posting the video. Awesome soundtrack, awesome game.

Landing on Tallon IV was an one time life experience. No question, Metroid Prime is the best game ever made.

Been chasing that feeling of stepping out of the ship for 15 years and this video is single-handedly pulling me through most of my master's degree now. When I'm finished *maybe* Retro will finish Prime 4;)

Oh my the feels. Sometimes I forget why I call Metroid Prime my favourite game of all time. Then something like this reminds me of the long hours I would spend drifting around the world soaking up its atmosphere. How every time I complete the game, as I walk through each area one last time, there's a sense of bittersweetness as I bid farewell to my time on Tallon IV. Thank you for posting this, and thank you to the developers of Metroid Prime for creating such an appealingly lonely, tragically beautiful, cathartic yet hopeful alien world.

I see the world different because of Metroid. Its Lore really has a captivating and optimistic point of view. In any face of adversity. Samus stood for Truth and Justice. For her people and for us! Beautiful.

Metroid Prime is such a different beast from 2D Metroid. It's so special in such a different way, I love it (both are spectacular)

I find this music heartbreaking. The planet is literally crying in agony. There’s just one spark of hope left in the eternal darkness. And even if it comes to pass it’s already too late for the majority. This must have been how the chozo felt as their cancer ravaged brains rotted. They died with their beloved planet and shared in its agony...

I declare that anyone who has never seen the corrosive raindrops of Tallon IV on their own visor, and felt the true loneliness on this planet that is only inhabitated by hostile creatures anymore, cannot call themself a true gamer.

I live here in Seattle where it's normally always raining, (not like Florida , Florida definitely rains more lol). But yeah I play this almost every morning when I light up and have some tea.

This video captures the FULL atmosphere that this track produces. The track itself is good, but add some rain and its a whole other level of nostalgia.

Its actually raining heavily outside at the time im typing this god I love this theme and game, such a sick game, metroid will always be my favourite game series of all time for many obvious reasons such as the music and world design

Im glad they brought back the company from the first 3 prime games to develop 4. The original team maybe gone but im sure the soul is still there. Makes me wonder what the bandai namco team couldnt do to get it right. And they are some of the best talent in the world! If they themselves couldnt do it, its a hell of a thing from them to pass it along to retro!

This will go down in history of games as the best OST. Thanks for the upload!

You have no idea how many hours I've used listening to this video during work and study. This song is bar none my favorite in the entire game and the rain effects only make listening to it better.

Hard to believe it's been nearly 20 years since I first played this game. I miss my platinum GameCube.

Not my favorite song from Prime 1, but it's close! I love Phendrana Drifts just a bit more, mainly because I love cold environments, I could spend hours out in a snow storm just taking in the sheer harshness of the elements.

At 15:25, when the music stops playing for a bit, and you're left with just the rain... It hits different.

I'm playing through for the first time. Never had time when I was younger but now I have my own place I'm getting into the series. I've played Metroid on NES then Super Metroid on the switch. I'm hooked. I brought Metroid Fusion off eBay and just completed that Amazing game. Now I've just recently brought the trilogy on Wii I'm playing though prime and booooy it's good.

I missed out on Metroid Prime 1. My brother had the GameCube, and young me struggled a bit learning the controls. Came back to Prime 3, which ranks high on my list of favorite games. Now I have Trilogy, and get the chance to return to Tallon IV with familiar controls .... and the unique ability to play it in "VR" on my drone goggles. Easily one of the most incredible gaming experiences of my life.

21 years from this , i will always remember the day i went to buy it. There was just one geme in the shop , it was the expo game and in said , Shut up and take my money. I think thats one of my favorit purchases of all times.

The first time I heard this song, I hated it because it replaced Tallon Overworld 1, which I already loved, and it meant I couldn't go back to Tallon Overworld to hear it anymore without loading an older save. But now that I know it's coming, I think I love it almost as much as the music in Phendrana Drifts. I am a derelict ruin and, like the native life of Tallon IV, it really grew on me.

Taking a hot bath in the tub while You let some fresh water fall from the shower is the Best. I felt like if I was in a hotspring during a rainy day in tallon overworld. Now I just need a Sap sac margarita
