Hi! Yes, all the mounting hardware is non-metallic. The probe-array has built-in aluminum posts, and the cover is attached to the top of these with Delrin bolts, which you can see in the pictures. The bottom of the posts also has female threads, to allow the array to be attached to the mapping jig with non-magnetic bolts. Note that by "non-magnetic" we really mean "non-ferromagnetic"; the posts and bolts do have a small (but measurable) effect on the magnetic field due to paramagnetism (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paramagnetism). This effect is corrected by our "normalization" process.
@@MetrolabTechnology Thanks for that I was just working on something and Paramagnetism was not on my radar and it looks like it may be something I was missing. RU-vidr Mirko Pavleski has a video that has a good simple demonstration of Paramagnetics in use as a damping mechanism for sensitive instruments - its a 14 minute video but only one minute to see his Paramagnetic demo - it starts at 08:51 in this RU-vid video: "DIY Extremly Sensitive and cheap Geophone sensor for Earthquakes detecting" ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HcXWzV9wudM.html
