ZOOM Q&A on piano technique, repertoire, practice and so much more for my patrons - / ugniuspianist SUBSCRIBE 💥💥💥
Hey, I am back with another video, this time with some new ways how to practice with a metronome! Let's forget that boring and monotonous practice with that old metronome and spice thing up a little bit 🌶!
For this neat idea on metronome practice credit goes to my partner in crime Gunda Baranauskaite, more about her can be found ➡ / gundabaran

Cool hack! Love this idea. Also love that Cmaj7b5/Lydian improv sound toward the end. So pretty!

Great video! I have a question though, what tempo would the 300bpm equate to? Both in 4/4 and in 6/8. Also, is it worth it to do these patterns at different tempos?

Hey good question! So 300 would (approx.) equate to 100bpm in 2/4 for the Hanon example I gave, and the the 86bpm for the Chopin Scherzo, hope that helps :)
