@@RAILFANinSOUTHAFRICA There is so much negativity about rail traffic. But slowly corridors are opening up and commuters are travelling by train. Leave the rail devastation in the past and applaud new beginnings. I love trains as I grew up a stones throw from Kenilworth Station.

Nice one mate! I live in Milnerton, I would love to go on one of these trains some day, but people say it is not safe. Any tips or lines you would recommend, as well as how it is in a metrorail station?

definitely not safe my friend. I have seen criminals steal right before my very eyes and then jump off and disappear at the next station. Dont take anything valuable with you, watch, phone, cash, whatever.

@@annawitter5161 Ok, thanks. I am aware of the crime situation. I will use a disposable camera for taking pictures maybe. Also, maybe I can travel on the Southern Line. Anything else? Maybe any tips or suggestions? Which line to use? I want to try out the train to Kalk Bay some time soon.

@@FamtechVideos I lived in the Southern Suburbs for a long time andI think you will be okay if you dont wear anything that looks valuable. Its mostly mugging that takes place, and some girls get raped. The rail to Simonstown is amazing. and you can climb off and visit Muizenberg, St James, and Kalk bay. Well worth it, just keep your wits about you.
