And this is after the big crash in the outfield the day before he's like a Bruce Lee indestructible 😁 so glad he didn't get hurt I wonder how Tommy Pham is doing?
@@dudeitscorey90 the padres have so many good players. They ought to have the most all stars this year. And outside of tatis and Machado, Darvish and Kim would get my votes for sure. They might have about 5 or 6 all stars
1:04 Wow, SO smooth! 3:42 The dude HAD IT!... Fumbled it! ANYTHING can happen in baseball! 4:10 Darvish needs a pay raise and start him in the lead off spot! 5:38 GREAT slide! The man does it all and then gets a cool hand up from the pitcher. I love a good sportsman! 7:25 Kim is ROCK SOLID with the glove!
@@lowkeycooked663 number 1: that was in 2017, so "was bad" would be more accurate. Number 2: The Astros cheated (yes, also on the road) People like you said, that Yu's time in the majors was up after his bad season in 2018 but look how he bounced back. Nothing will stop him and he will eventually prove doubters like you wrong
Where are the fools that kept saying Ha-Seong Kim didn't belong on this team?!? Dude has saved so many runs and make crucial plays when it mattered most...such as the game ending first ever No Hit for the Padres. Give this man all the credit he deserves!!! LFG HSK!!!
Seems like every other game Fernando has an amazing avoid the tag highlight. I never seen anything like it. On top of that he shows off his wheels on that play. He is fast
Tatis truly is the future of this sport. The talent and personality are a match made in heaven they say. It makes the intense NL West race much more fun! Go Giants!
Mad respect to Taijuan Walker. Didn't have his best stuff but still pitched well, ripped a solid base hit, and showed off some great sportsmanship. Rooting for him for the rest of the year
Yes it could have been the worst if Tatis got hurt Walker could have stepped on his leg with his spikes but instead he gives them a hand up props to him
As a Mets fan if we lose to this team with our AAA team 4-3, then we are in good shape to do well this season (especially with yu darvish pitching tonight). Losing 4-3 against arguably the 2nd best pitcher in the NL is all good by me and it gives me hope for the next games when he isn’t pitching!
I love my Mets they lost but at 5:42 on Tatis hard slide at home plate, Mets pitcher Taijuan Walker tells the kid "you alright" and helps him up, that is class that NY fans expect from our teams.
Padres are great but happy my Mets went toe to toe with them with a depleted lineup and kept things close. It would be a great playoff series if they meet and we are at full strength! LFGM!
Melancon has obviously seen what happens when a pitcher pokes their foot or glove at a screamer like that. Glad he resisted the urge to field that and left it to Kim for the DP.
Only losing by 1 to prob the best team in baseball rn with all these injuries. I’m okay with that. If there’s 1 other team I’d like to see win the WS other than the mets,it’s definitely the padres.
If the Padres didn't score on that wild pitch i could see this game going at least 13 innings. I always love extra innings games its fun to watch. Great game tho.
Seeing how if mason held on to the homer tatis hit this would’ve been a totally different game but I’ll take a 1 run loss with a team that’s missing half its lineup still
Exactly, missing half the infield & 2/3 of the outfield & still very competitive even when Walkers had his worst start in a long time. Very encouraging.
@@JayJay-vd2eb Very encouraging, I’m just hoping when the team is healthy again that the bullpen can stay solid, I know they can’t be amazing all year but if they can be a top 10 performing bullpen all season we’ll really be a force.
i know "we"won hahhaha but i still think that we should of gt Pujos, hes a fist base man im just sayin jake has been playing very good 2nd base we need him there..
Can someone tell me why it seems like the shift has become so common? I saw machado in right and it seems like everytime a ball is hit up the middle, the SS is playing there
@@bwb4449 yeah Idk about the whole league I really only watch Mets games and they seemed to have gone all in on the shift analytics and it’s been working for them.
