These are the best tires I have tried! I will never go back to any other tire. Day one I got in about 10 miles before a rain storm and these things were sticking and no slips at all! 125 miles later I was hitting twisties and confident. I have tried them all and nothing has compared. The heat and stick is amazing in streets of NYC or nice winding roads. AAA+++. I ride all year and have friends that have gotten close to 10k on a set. These are hardcore riders that rip! So when I heard that and saw em it was a no brainer. $250 for the set ya can’t beat and I paid more for my S21 hyper sports which were excellent but,, I did get lil kick outs here n there and the tread and everything is just way better on the RR’s.
These work great on small sport bikes as well. I just got the second set for my KTM RC390, the first ones lasted over 4000 miles and were both worn equally due to the harder center strip in the rear tire. They work well in early spring and late autumn Minnesota weather as well as in wet conditions. I've been riding for about 40 years and I've always bought Metzelers so I may be a bit biased.
I have these on my drz400sm and its hard as shit to make them brake traction. DRZ doesn't have alot of power but even trying to do a burnout they just hook so well its harder to do one. I love them
Using the 190/55 rear M7RR. I like it not only for the handling, but the taller section height means tire circumference increased ~3%, which raises the bike's overall gearing by that same amount. No ABS / ECU error codes have occurred using this tire combo.
I’m about to replace a rear tyre and currently ride the Rosso 3. I heard both tires are very similar. Is it safe to just change the rear tyre with the M7RR and keep the Rosso 3 in the front?
Maybe they are good on the streets I don't know yet but I've tried them on the track and they were not that great. I crashed and I almost high sided. I had better grip on the track with Metzeler roadtec01. I didn't expect that, I bought the M7rr because I liked the roadtec a lot on streets and on track
Hi, I'm going to ride the M7 RR, I have a Suzuki GSXR600 and my question is what pressures do I have to put on the road and what pressures in circuit o tracks days .... thank you very much
I'm toying with trying these I have the angel GT'S and love them though I went from a 50 to 55 ratio I will buy the 50 again for sure better balance as the 55 feel like edge of a cliff. The Angel's I get 10,000 miles out of them I ride about 7000 miles a year...I do not ride ham fisted but ride easy in wet and with pace in the dry.
great grip excellent on back roads !! But wobbles like hell under hard acceleration about 130-150 than get a little bit stable !! this is on my 2016 S1000R !! so some of the story's not true !! my Super corsa was stable even when i got close to the end of it !! after 2800 miles on the rear and about 5700 on front still i could accelerate with full throttle and at 164 was still stable !!
+jerryx2000 Really? I find that very surprising. The previous M5 was a great tire that lasted a very long time and had great grip, especially in the wet. I have a hard time imagining that the M7 would be worse.
+jerryx2000 What a bulshit. Your comment is absolutely out of this world. These are great tires even on wet. On dry roads the M7's are track grip level. Mine lasted only 7.000km, but thats's completely normal for this kind of compound. Anyone who says these tires have no good grip doesn't know anything about tires.
Navroze contractor One would think they would be good at it... but nope. Last set if Metzeler I bought were sport tech 3's and they were garbage. Get them hot,and they turn into ice skates. My home boy went down on a set. Road rashed the left side of his RC51. As soon as mine were done. Ditched them and haven't looked back.
Are those made in China too?? Was SOOO angry to see the front tire on my Roadtec 01's was Chinese made! So now my $33000 BMW with all major components and safety items made in Germany or EU has a Chinese tire at the contact point with the road! Last Metzeler I ever buy.
Guy can't win and guy is not ridding this tire in the Isile of man and if he is maybe that is why he keep losing. It all depends the condition on the road it's not like they just slap these on the tire in the rain and there good for everything go ahead and the chick and old man they know casue they ride hard... They are taking to the max!!! look at my video you run this tire its going to look like that and this is comming from a true road rider these people are so full of shit. NW200 last year we wiped out he's out this year. Give me some money Cristy and I will show you how to ride a bike
