Also check that front driveshaft. It maxes out it's operating angle. Then, it binds on every revolution. You can check it easily without taking anything apart. Hold the rig in your hand, and just squeeze the front axle until it's compressed fully. The give it some throttle on the Transmitter. If it smooths out while the axle is compressed you'll see it, and know it's the front driveshaft joint at too steep of an angle of operation.
I've just stumbled upon this and thank god I have. Ive been struggling with this issue since i invested in some Meus axels. Ive tried everything to try sort it and it's doing my head it. They will be off in the bin soon and I'll start again.
I had the same issue I put the mesus axels in and the front drive shaft binded up. I figured out an easy fix I took another rear drive shaft and cut it down so it so it was just a little bit longer than the original front drive shaft and it works perfectly.
Make sure the knuckle on each end of the axle is the lines that they pivot the same direction if you look at the spline with a two drive shaft pieces slide together if you pull it out and move it one Groove over and push it in eventually you'll notice that the front and rear knuckle on that drive shaft drive shaft is able to bend in the same direction front and rear if they're not aligned properly they'll Bend out of phase
These problems are easy to diagnose, 1st remove both drive lines. Cycle every tire back and forth 1/2in. with your finger , Should be NO resistance...Put power to motor to see its gone. Put one drive line on check again then the other. You should see something by now.....Watching video front pinion looked wobbly maybe??? Always check wheel hex's and rim fitment for rubbing when installing new stuff.
Looks like the driveshaft angle is too steep. Have u tried flipping it over and pressing the axles down toward the chassis and see if the studdering persists? I have this issue in my Trx4m tarantula build and had to soften the suspension so it’s sits lower at rest so the angle isn’t as extreme on the front
Had the same issue with my MEUS axles not fitting correctly. Honestly, have some of these companies heard of Quality Control? I got the axle alignment fixed and now the Injora drove shafts don’t fit to the MEUS axles, just like the issue you are having. Good to know that the solution is not to get the MEUS drive shafts. Apparently those don’t work either. UGH! Also, I’m in UT also! I’m in South Jordan. May I ask where you are?
With how boutique these hard parts really are, you would at least think there would be some standards involved. Seems to me like the larger scale market has less issues, and it makes sense. It's not easy cranking out these little parts. Speaking of 4M parts, if you decide to go with hi clearance links, the Injora rears bind up preventing the axle from fully tucking into the truck, unless you install them backwards....which negates their purpose. The cheap aluminum ones I got didn't have that problem, but they needed work right out of the package.
I just ordered the same set for my K10 but I have the high trail INJORA steel driveshaft.. what would be my solution to them not fitting? Or do they fit? I can’t find anyone with that setup to ask
yea my universals are extremely tight im waiting for a response.their wheels dont fit their axles unless you have the right size aftermarket hexes and wheel nuts.its a real pain in the butt ive had so many problems like this.also other afgermarket brands parts mostly dont fit even bearings so buy all meus if thats what u want to use.they are very helpful if u contact them.
Drive phasing. Alter rotation of driveshafts. Binding. Usually diff.pinion against diff.cover. when power applied diff.pinion pressures into diff.cover.. Axle rotation. Adjusting links to correct axle angle to lessen angle of driveshaft at full/min. Suspension. Moving mount locations.. Drivetrain binding. Find issue/fix it. Can't think of anything else. Everyones already covered these. Thats the nutshell😅
Yeah I ordered the 4mm+ Injora Aluminum Axles for mine. Haven't installed them yet. Got them 2 days ago....They Seem quite nice....I guess we'll see, but they're smooth. Even at full lock the Front axles don't bind at all (very smooth). I also ordered the complete aluminum transmission with stock ratio metal gears....It seems VERY smooth. Again we'll see.
Na het plaatsen van upgrades in mijn trx4 had ik dit probleem ook terwijl ik niets had veranderd aan de elektronica. Na lang zoeken naar het probleem heb ik mijn ontvanger verwisseld en probleem opgelost
One thing I can say about meus is they’re customer service is pretty good for being a Chinese company. I had a defective set of axles and I reached out. They send me a set. It took a while but I paid nothing for the replacement.
Probably the diff cover. If I tighten mine all the way down I can't turn my drive shafts. If you grease the diff, take off the cover and see if there is a straight line of grease on the inside of it, your screws are too tight.
Meus racing is junk. I bought the 26:1 bc that seemed like a good gearing setup for my use(hiking w rc) put em in and the outpuy shaft just spun on yhe gear. 😂
Also its worth noting they know this part is defective bc when i went to reorder a few weeks later to try again its been removed. They managed to make metal parts that are weaker than the factory platic 🤣
have you ever heard of drive shaft phasing? because of the joins contruction and the angles if you took the spline apart and rotated it 90deg and put it back together the output from the transmission will spin constant but the wheels/ axles will have an oscilation, this exact thing happen to me on taxxas summit short swing arm conversion when i took axles appart to grease them, there was literally nothing wrong with them
I have no idea I have a set of those axles on the way, so I’ll watch for more to see what you come up with I would like to know what the deal is. Truck is looking awesome catch you on the next one until then peace and chicken grease 😁👍👍😎
