@FlightScope What happened at 13:17? Did the mevo+ fail to read the putt attempt initially? The full swing works great, especially outdoors at the range but I've had trouble with my Mevo+ and e6 with chipping/putting. I hope to keep seeing improvement with each firmware release.
I’ve been having the same issues since the .16 update.....won’t read chips inside of 35-40ft, ghost putts anything over 27ft, only reads about 1 out of 5 putts and I can’t seem to get putts to roll further than 21ft.....would like to hear what @FlightScope has for a fix, it’s very very very frustrating
@@kevinryan7277 Same here. The ghost putting is super frustrating. If it put it within 10 feet on the ghost putt I wouldn't complain but sometimes it hits the putt 5 feet, sometimes it hits it off the green!
I'm very pleased with both MEVO and MEVO+. MEVO has been so good, I'm considering selling my MEVO+. Both are truly remarkable for their respective price points, in context of their accuracy related to full swing. Have to add: Alex was helpful when I first picked up my MEVO a few years ago. He's got more than a little game, too!
This video convinced me to buy and set up my bay indoors, and in fact, extending the house in order to accommodate, attached to my home office. Can't wait!
I am trying to use my Mevo+ in the garden with a net got the 8ft either side and linking with my ipad. My issue is that it drops the connection after a few mins. Then having to rescan the unit QR code etc. I have updated the firmware etc. I really want to like the unit but i cant use it, managed to get 3 shots so far!! any ideas on connection dropping. WIFI and Bluetooth all set to on.
Great video Alex. I recently figured something out you might want to be aware of. I have an indoor hitting bay that opens up to our range. I’ve had some issues with driver, 3 wood and hybrid numbers on E6 but none with the irons. I’ve been using the outdoor mode as instructed but two days ago i tried it on long indoor and it hasn’t missed a shot since. I had a couple of chips give me the long high ball flight but everything else was spot on. Has anyone else mentioned trying this?
Hi thanks for the video and a couple of questions if I may 1/ what can the gap be for the iron ball position and putting ball 2/ if in separate locations will the ball always end up left of the target with an iron assume you hit it straight ie if 3 inches left of the centre line. Then aim left of the centre line and thus the putt will be (if 3 inches right) hit 3 inches right or will Mevo work out the effective centre lines for both
Just before the 2min mark it seems to say in one of the squares..'Club path'..but it's a bit blurry so I can't be sure. Does this measure club path which is one of the main reasons I'd buy it. Does it allow you to configure the degrees of each club or doesn't it matter?
Hi there Alex. With the setup you have there the screen isn't centered to your target line. Can this be adjusted so that the ball hits the screen at the same point on the simulator. I know E6 allows you to adjust this, but does the FS apps allow you to adjust as well. Some smaller hitting bays don't always allow you to hit out of the centre of the room
I am in the market and close to pulling the trigger. Looking at a few options. Does the MEVO+ allow for multiplayer games, a friendly foursome game over a few beers, or is it limited to one player game.?
Are you able to have your putting strip in front of the hitting insert? Or, does the ball have to be hit from the same lateral distance from the Mevo each time?
Hi - disclaimer, I have the unit and I enjoy it and would recommend it. I noticed, however, that just about every shot in the demo was estimated spin (the number was displayed in italics). Any idea why? I’m finding spin to be good with irons and questionable with driver. But I don’t get the estimated spin as frequently as you did in the video.
What is the distance ball to screen, and is it set up in short indoor, or indoor mode? I'm running 7' mevo to ball and 9' ball to screen. I tend to get high driver spin and lower total distance than I experience in real life. Thanks!
@flightscope I've had one of these for about 8 months now and with the latest updated my driver numbers are finally looking ok on the flighscope app. However, my number on e6 are still consistently 20 yards shorter for my driver. Will there be an update on the e6 software soon to match the Flightscope software numbers?
Your target line on the floor doesn’t match the target line on the screen. Can the target on the screen be adjusted laterally so that your line on the floor matches the line on the screen?
Hi Great video, this might have been asked before but has the side axis issue been resolved on the Mevo + The GC2 had Axis spin right when the mevo said left and vice versa. Also, the mevo looks a great piece of tech real game changer.
It is worth the wait everyone. what is interesting for us is that we have not needed to use the metallic dots. Any thoughts on not using the metallic dots?
@@MrMikejam23 Actually I just tested it and I am reading the same spin either way. What I notice is when I miss hit it the spin is more accurate with the dot.
@Flightscope if your hitting mat is 2 inches above ground, do you need to place a putting mat 2 inches above the ground as well? What about the Mevo +? Can it stay on the ground?
I have the length (19ft) but I am limited to 11 ft width. I am a lefty, but would have right handers over to play on occasion, with skytrak I know I can flip the unit back and forth and offset it as I don’t have enough room to keep it centered. How well does the mevo work in this circumstance? Can I slide it back and forth at the back of the room to an offset position to accommodate? Will it be a nightmare with calibration?
thats great for left or right handed only.. but when you have to hit left and right... the putting needs to be in the middle. so everything has to be on the same level.
Returned mine. Maybe I had a bad unit. I however, wrote flightscope about the issues (not reading 50-60% of the shots), but never got a response. Went through numerous videos to see if was doing something wrong (using it outdoors at the range). I'm an electrical engineer, I like to think I have some technical know how. Way too expensive for it to have that bad quality control or finicky tolerances for setup. I'll stick with my PRGR for now
Anyone else torn between skytrak and MRVL ? I feel like you need soooo much room for the mevo. I have a 15’x15’ area and I feel like that’s not good enough given you have to stand a mile away from the screen.
I waited 5 months for mine and my skytrak destroys it with accuracy...outdoors it’s pretty good, but my indoor facility is 12x36 and it’s still TERRIBLE
He didn't say, but in the X3 demo, he said that he was using an Ipad Air using a lightning to HDMI dongle. The graphics looked very similar, so I'm assuming and Ipad Air 3.
It comes with license for iPad/iphone. If you want E6 or TGC 2019 you have to pay for those software to be able to use a PC. I paid $300 fo 1 year subscription for E6 and the picture fills my whole 10x14 screen. iPad has a different square format like you see here.
This video would be much more impressive if the screen and project was full. It looks like it was being shot on a bed sheet, terrible presentation and very unprofessional. If I had not just bought the Mevo + I may have reconsidered.
