@@bigpapivini6436 I don't think any sport is superior at the top level, both very complex with levels. In a REAL fight though MMA wins hands down everytime.
@@julien7196streefighting and fighting in the cage are two different things. Ive seen a boxer knocking out 5 people at once ive never seen an mma fighter doing that. Thats because nomatter how hard you train yiu are gonna forget all your shit when you actually come face to face like all you keyboard warriors would shit your pants once you meet am guy in the street that actually wants to fight you. Boxing the sweet science think the range control footwork body movement of a good boxer is alot more effective than a good mma fighters kicks . . . . .
The MMA are all rounded and the best because they can transition from striking to takedowns to grappling or groundfighting. But their biggest flaw is their lack of guard/defense against the strikers when they focus on takedown right away. They always think by using takedown is always the weakness of the strikers when they leave themselves too open. Normally, some strikers who fantasize going against an MMA, when they shadow box, they also visualize fighting against someone who specializes takedown or they'll even spar against someone who just want to wrestle. For example, i know a guy in our MMA class who's interest is just Muay Thai, he'll attend our grappling and wrestling class to learn their skills, but during sparring, he'll just focus on shifting his body to execute his knee strikes or clinch and knee against a takedown because it's quicker than round house. Or a slight step back and shift to do a low hook or uppercut against a takedown. If I'm going against a strikers, I'll be doing striking first until i notice their hard breathing or if their footwork slows down then I'll take the fight to the ground. I won't wrestle in the first round because i know most strikers are cautious against MMA.
Yeah but lot of kids who never boxed keep saying on the internet all the bullshits like: "knees gonna win ez, grappling gonna win ez, elbows ez win" and all idiotic things like that
The guy isn’t even an mma fighter he’s just a guy with no shoes lmao. Any mma fighter that tries to box a boxer gonna get clapped for sure tho. Getting in on a single is easier than you’d think tho. An explosive low single is hard to hit with an uppercut and the timing is just difficult anyway.
This guy isnt even an mma fighter mf just in the outfit😂 any actuall mma fighter would’ve started using his kicks more and then wrestle that boxer and fuck him up with ground an pound😂
Right but the argument isn’t that knowing MMA makes you immortal and that boxing skills never work, it’s that being versatile & well rounded gives an advantage over somebody who only knows one skill. Plus, you can’t box on the ground or while you’re in a submission hold…. That’s why knowing both striking AND grappling is important.
It’s better to specialise in fighting in my opinion. It’s more realistic. The less you have to think of the better. Trust me you won’t grab a boxer easily in a street fight. The jab alone is a killer.
It’s better to be versatile so when one ability gets taken away you still have other weapons… You can’t box your way out of a submission hold or use boxing skills after someone just wrestled you to the ground. And you can’t wrestle someone to the ground if you are u able to grab them. Owning 2 or 3 cars is better than owning 1 car (if you can afford all that). If you only have one car, you’re a sitting duck if it gets stolen or totaled. Having 2 or more guns is better than owning just 1 gun. In most cases, having more than just 1 of something is always better. More money is better than less money
Also there are fighters out there who have black belts in 3 or more martial arts. That means they’re specialized and have mastered more than one art. A guy who has only mastered one would be much easier to fight.
Analogies like having more cars or more guns does not apply to fighting. A street fight is very quick and messy. Best to stick to basics. It depends on the individual fighter. It always will be. When you go to grapple a boxer, you still have to come into their punching space. So it makes no difference.
you need to be versitile so that you would be able to fight in any position or situation, have more weapons, kicks, punches, elbows and knees, clinch, wrestling and jiu jitsu, when a boxer starts getting kicked for example, he will be in trouble.
@@lilstewy5091yeah that’s how a lot of mma fighters punch dude , they ain’t no boxers 😂 that’s why they get sparked . Nate Diaz throws loopy , Connor McGregor throws loopy , Michael chandler and others throw loopy 😂 common mma fighter punching style 😂 stop coping 😂 guy had a fast teep as well , Boxers are simply superior
@@user-du4vg6rv8q The fighters you named throws straight hands, and they throw in different directions because boxers only stand still, also did you know that this wasn’t a mma fighter, he said he did boxing for one year and just started Muay Thai for a month lol so he’s making boxers look bad. You never seen a teep if you called that a teep
Bro if you can’t fight just say that weakling. Youre so mad that an mma fighter got fked up goofy. Stay in ya lane cuz you’ve never stepped in a gym in your LIFE
The mma fighter boxed against the boxer, thats why he lost. If he would of kick more or take him down, boxer wold of been done in first couple of seconds
Yeah totally would have ko’d the boxer and taken him down in the first couple of seconds with some kicks 😂 maybe he knows that kicks truly aren’t street applicable and it’s better to punch in the streets as people who actually train have been trying to tell you idiotic mma fans who simply cater to the most popular martial arts ? Literally sound like a loser 😂 “ totally should have used his kicks in a street fight 🤓” 😂
@@user-du4vg6rv8q Omfg I Really beg God to Help Those Boxing Dickriders. It Depends on what Kick is being Used, if an MMA Fighter Uses a High Kick Then He sure most Likely will Fail cause He might all Over, but if It's a Low Kick Then it's just a Matter of Time until The Boxer can't stand anymore and smothers away.
@@seabass-nj2qb bro are you like 12?? Lol and there’s is fights of mma fighters losing in street fights they are not the terminator. It’s a 50/50 fight what if the boxer lands 1st? What if the boxer is more physically stronger and aggressive like a Mike Tyson that he can plow through the skill level? What if the boxer knows how to fight dirty in street fight?
This is why the whole MMA vs Boxing is so stupid and anyone who thinks MMA fighters have an advantage due to their wrestling and takedowns. A boxer is simply too fast and can counter any takedown attempt with ease. This is why Boxing will always be the ultimate combat sport
Facts! Everyone thinks mma fighters have an advantage but mma fighters simply don’t know how to punch and box. They don’t got the punch technique of a boxer.
@@jaydenvu4178 MMA fighters might not be as skilled punchers as boxers, but to say MMA fighters as a whole have no hands isn't true. They just don't overcommit on their shots as much because there's heavier punishment for it.
Not true, I used to street fight every Friday, I had mma experience and I would beat other boxers who had amateur careers, and boxers fight sideways which was easy for my ju Jitsu and leg kicks. I only once and that was against a full wrestler who went straight for leg lock
These guys that call themselves “mma” didn’t learn martial arts especially looking like that. If they did any it was extremely homogenized or extremely watered down.
