The corruption starts at the very bottom . Great talented kids have been getting left behind. If your parents have no money or influence you will not get ahead in Mexican futbol. The less talented kids will advance over more talented kids because of the influence their parents may have. It's very hard to believe that Mexico as a futbol 1st country has not produced more elite players or anything close to our greatest icon Hugo Sanchez. I hope you guys can expose the Mexican futbol federation all their corruption.
No Copa Libertadores, No Copa América, No promotion/relegation, +8 foreigners per team. No developing of young players, pointless friendlies in the USA, etc etc. THE MEXICAN FEDERATION ARE TO BLAME HERE. Mexican football today is worse than 20 years ago and that is all because the FEDERATION
right now yes, i will admit it. However, for decades, USA was absolute trash in league and NT. right now, US is slightly better but everything is played on US soil.
There needs to be an overhaul from the top down. Purge the FMF of these corrupt cronies, join the CONMEBOL or better yet merge it and CONCACAF, bring in new young players and stop hiring foreigners to coach the national team, but most importantly, we the fans have to stop feeding the machine with our money. We have to boycott the team/FMF until things change for the better.
As someone who isn’t a soccer fan and just watches during the World Cup, why is their a new coach every World Cup for Mexico .. what games does the national team play in during those 4 years that are important and why is their a new coach every 4 years.. are they all that bad? This is why I could never get into soccer. Too many leagues, players all over the place. It’s never made sense to me
They make some good points but fail miserably at understanding that the people profiting from the status quo will fight vehemently to ensure the structure stays that way. Asking Mexican soccer to change when they are too busy counting their bills is a fool's errand.
Even FMF gets charged when the Puto chant gets called out. We need to say this chant more in the US so that FMF will no longer want Friendlies in the US. This World Cup failure is the prime example of No PaSa NaDa CuH, but we’re out of the Group Stage. I want more players in Europe, now don’t say sh*t about needing green cards to go to Europe, we’re MexiCANos, not mexiCAN’Tos. We finna play in Europe and pull a Player immigration push to Europe. We finna use the WC co-host as the Trojan Horse and develop in Europe.
I'm neutral here coming from a CONMEBOL country. Mexico have the flare but have no execution and no playmaker (not even one). Mexico really need to look for talents who are NOT in division 1 and have players play in CONMEBOL leagues. Tata did everything he could so therefore it's more of an administrative thing rather a coaching thing.
FMF needs to understand they are not at the level European leagues are . They need to allow their players to leave even if they are young . Plus bring back pro reg
Chávez is right. That entire game he was lost and never go the ball. His position which is mostly offensive was irrelevant in Tatas formation and tactic. Tata wanted us to lose that game
A cautionary tale for the US and Canada. Don't be too quick to cash, and dont thino aboit the short term interests of yoir domestic leahue. Invest in the long term development of your player pool, some of that will eventually benefit the domestic leagues but tha should not be the primary goal
But the reality is that the Moleros happen because fans support the team no matter what. It is good to have the support but when you support this much and all these issues are present on the back end???..... You buy the product and pay top dollar for it , not matter the quality then complain about the Molero games. Its a catch 22, asking for no more Moleros, but then giving full support when a Molero does happen. You guys have to stop that. Ask for the change and act accordingly.
Mexico has been remarkably consistent at WCs for more than 30 years: get out of the group, lose in the round of 16. This time they did a little worse. So what? The big question is why they haven't done better. Here's one way to illustrate the answer: In the Mexico v. Argentina game, Argentina fielded (including subs): 13 players from top 5 leagues (several from very top clubs), 2 players from Benfica, 0 players from domestic clubs Mexico fielded (including subs): 3 players from top 5 leagues (none from very top clubs), 1 Eredivise player, 1 MLS player, 9 Liga MX players
Exactly. And why is that? Are Argentina/Brazil that much ahead of Mexico in terms of producing talent that can compete in top European leagues? No. The problem is cost. An equally talented non Mexican player will far cost less. Therefore, there will always be an increased volume of Argentine/Brazilian players I'm Europe, and those National teams will always have a higher volume of players to choose from.
That's what Mexico has been saying for 44 years. As Herculez stated Mexico is selling players at 25 to MLS while Brazil is sending kids to start for Real Madrid at 18.
No. This is not true. 'Never has been. A couple of greats "here and there", but Mexico's past is minor and its future is in the shadow of USA. This will probably be true for the foreseeable future.
I secretly wanted this to happen. It may just be the wake up call the Mexican Federation needs to finally change things. If that happens Mexican Soccer can be one of the best in the world.
Like what happened to the usa and the last World Cup I find it mind blowing how a country like Mexico who loves the game like Brazil, Argentina, England are yet to ever be a real super power on the international level
It won’t be. The big clubs in Mexico are making money hand over fist. They wait for World Cup time to try and sell players for a premium. It’s run like a business, not a game. The players are viewed as products they own and need to profit from. They have zero interest in allowing young talent to develop if they can’t make money off or it. The best thing that can happen to Mexico is to miss the World Cup entirely like USA did.
Mexico should be a serious player. For the size of the country and importance of football, I would expect them in the WC semifinals every 3 cycles. In other words they should average top 4 in world every 12 years. Other counties with smaller or same population, and equal football fervor are consistently more competitive. And yes Copa America is a great way to make both Mexico better and put Copa more on par with European competition (having a larger number of good teams)
Those smaller countries you mentioned that are consistently more competitive don't also carry the burden of having a "top league" that does great business overall in their respective region as Mexico does... The Mexican league dwarfs the domestic leagues of Uruguay and Croatia (for example) in terms of pure money-making... therefore, Mexican club owners are constantly trying to "improve" the product by bringing in well-paid foreign talent in order to keep the demand of fans (with the exception of Chivas of course). Which is why Mexican clubs tend to hold onto their own Mexican star players with such high price-tags... in a recent video I saw with former Mexican national team star Cuahutemoc Blanco, he was asked point blank why he didn't stay playing in Europe (he had a spell of a couple of seasons in Spain), and he answered that 1. He had developed knee problems that prevented him from playing at the highest level possible for him to make s real difference, and 2. Him leaving to play for a mid-table Spanish club meant he was taking a *huge* pay cut from what he was previously making for his Mexican club (América). I would add that he wasn't going to enjoy the same super-star celebrity status as in his own home country while in Europe... Meanwhile, I'd venture to say the majority of Mexican fans couldn't really care less if Blanco's long-term development as a player was stunted by playing only in Mexico... all they cared about was being able to go to their local stadiums and seeing him in person (instead of only seeing him on TV playing elsewhere). This "problem" simply doesn't exist in many other countries... fans understand they aren't going to regularly see the absolute *best* players their country has to offer by going down to the local stadium in Uruguay or Argentina, they know it's a given those players will be playing elsewhere on another continent and will only very *rarely* see them playing at home. Not so in Mexico... I just get the impression Mexican fans *want* their best players kept at home so they can be locally adulated - it's almost as if (dare I say?) they prefer to have a more "personal" bond with these players by watching them play in person every week, which can only be done if they remain in the Mexican league. Anyway, all this shows you that having a very popular home league with rich clubs and crazed passion isn't always such a great thing... there can be negative aspects to having that.
@@davepazz580very detailed and well thought out. I’d like to add that with the massive population the country has. A well thought out league would be able to consistently send developing talent abroad, while also maintaining a high level of play at the national league level. Out of 120 million people, we can surely come up with more players. What I’m trying to say is that you will develop elite talent, but then there will be the rest that’s good enough to play in the “current national team” but not good enough to play in the Elite National team we can build. Those would be the equivalent of the players we currently hire from South America, like the Argentinians such as Funes Mori. Furthermore, the business model needs to drastically change. They are too short term minded. That’s why they moved away from the long tournaments and into these “Clausuras”, or “aperturas” to sell us the season twice a year and then two play offs. This doesn’t reward the top team. But it sure does generate excitement around fans constantly selling out stadiums. If Mexico focused on longer term visions, the product would sell eventually. But for now, we would need to be patient.
I think even failures have value, but this failure will mean nothing if nothing changes. Mexico has the talent, we don't have the system to exploit that talent, so it all just goes to waste. Mexico has the talent to be a consistent round of 16 or better team. Probably a favorite to reach the quarter finals consistently. We have that talent.
@@jonathannelson1941 Well, Mexico has won more trophies than the U.S at the senior and youth level, we've consistently qualified to the round of 16, we've beaten the U.S more times than the U.S have beaten Mexico... I don't think that talent is debatable. Look up Jordan Carillo, look up Joshua Mancha, you saw Luis Chavez, look up Kevin Alvarez, just to name a few, and beating the U.S is not really a priority for us. We already know we dominate the region, and the U.S defeating Mexico hasn't magically changed that, nor is it something that we have to "prove" by defeating the U.S. The way I see it, it will go back and forth between Mex and the U.S for a long time, with Canada also making things difficult for both sides. Neither Mex or the U.S will completely and utterly dominate the region like Mexico did before the U.S stepped up its game. That won't happen ever again. The problems here are structural, not a lack of talent. Mexican league give preference to foreign players and it's difficult for a young player to get into the first team without influence or $$. No Promotion or relegation, Mexican media in control of the national team, not enough players going to Europe b/c of the crazy market prices that the teams set for potential buyers which are inflated above what they are actually worth, etc.
I'm not Mexican. I have trained with pro Clubs reserve teams in Mexico before moving to the UK. I was surprised at the level. They are dead on accurate about the high levels, and it's curious how teeters off for so many players. It's because too few players leave to raise they level. Needs to change. They are better than Poland
@@jaylewis7017 I get it. Your ceiling was high school & Sunday league so you have troll to feel good. Its alright, the Fifa PlayStation fantasy land was made for you. Keep the dream alive lol
Everyone in the Mexican Football Federation needs to be fired this is not only on Tata Martino. Mexico needs to leave CONCACAF and join CONMEBOL along with reducing the number of foreigners in Liga MX.
@@jlmart1993 I disagree Mexico is full of young talent but unfortunately the federation is rigged and don’t have a proper system to recruit said young talent
@@jlmart1993 Tougher competition makes you better. Mexico has shown in the past it can compete with South America. You want Mexico to always qualify in CONCACAF and not win the world cup? Or Mexico face tougher competition which will help in facing higher rank teams in the world cup. They are two nations that Mexico will have problems beating in CONMEBOL that is Argentina and Brazil. Mexico can beat the rest of the South American countries. Plus a couple of defeats to the Brazilians and Argentines will help the Mexican Football Federation better address what they need to compete at a higher level in the international stage.
Ive always been an Ochoa fan and I agree 100%. Its time to let someone else to get a chance. He can come to a 6th world cup but on the bench or as a coach.
Exactly as a massive Mexico fan it bothers me alot that the team and federation keeps calling up washed up veterans at least the USA team has called younger guys but yea ochoa is my favorite Mexican player of all time but he has been washed up since world cup 2018 its time Mexico finally moves on and bring in younger guys with more potential
The saddest part of it all is knowing that Mexico is a powerhouse when it comes to creating world cup talent. We are a two time sub 17 champion after all. But the corruption and greed of the FMF and Televisa does not allow for this talent to grow and flourish. Either they don't export them, or if they do they ask for ridiculous tags for which European clubs can simply say "I can get 3 Brazilians for that amount". If the players that won the sub 17 world cup in 2011 would have been given proper development and allowed to go to Europe, the senior national team right now would be a CONTENDER.
I felt like a lot of the problems with the federation and the team started ever since they decided to pull Liga Mx teams away from the Copa Libertadores in 2015. And the overemphasis on these meaningless friendlies the team play in the US doesn’t help the team. With how well the US is approaching their team nowadays, it hurts to see how money is a driving factor to the Mexican national team’s decline. That and having an ex tv executive in charge of the federation.
@@brandensimmons653 Tigres did in 2015, a year before the Liga MX teams officially left the competition. Pachuca did win the copa sudamericana in 2006.
Even when Mexico manages to play dumb friendlies in USA vs European teams they usually don’t ever bring their first team and take an inferior squad . There was one time when Mexico kept playing friendlies with Bosnia 🇧🇦 for some reason and why is it when we play against conmebol in USA we play only with the likes of Paraguay, Bolivia, Venezuela….the weakest in conmebol. Iam assuming if we wanted to play higher opposition like Uruguay/ Brazil/Argentina they would demand a high split of revenue and that does not suit the greedy federation and the chances of us losing are high so they don’t because the federation wants consumers to think Mexico is a potential with beating the likes of Paraguay and Venezuela.
@@agustinjr.enriquez6238 Iam preety sure Mexico is better then the teams I just mentioned now and historically. You look at this years World Cup and see how many teams failed to advance in next phase well Mexicos been consistently been getting out since the 70’s and only now we fail and by only 1 goal needed . Say what you want but even conmebol teams have been sent home packing in first rounds and they are apparently better.
Mexico should not have a Coach from a different country. Especially from Argentina knowing they have to face them. Tata didn't call on Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez, he has been the best Mexican Forward Striker for the Mexican national team in the recent years. Another player he did not call on was Vela. These two players should have been the first 2 you call on to play in the World Cup. No disrespect to the players who did go but its clear Tata had a plan which was keeping Mexico out and help Argentina his native country to win. I hope there will be changes. I don't put full blame on Tata, its the person who hired him and let him do what he pleases with El tri. While all of Mexico disagreed with the decision to have Tata as coach. God bless you all. Arriba 🇲🇽!
Mexican American who only watches soccer during the World Cup but it’s quite incredible how the Mexican national team has not advanced and gotten better over the years. You think about not only players from Mexico but other Mexican American kids who play in the states .. you’d think as some of your people start to make it financially and give their kids better opportunities that it’d take them further in places including sports but somehow the Mexican national team seems to be getting worse somehow.. even baseball is kinda catching up as far as the talent it produces from Mexico which you’d never thought you’d hear that
@@bluejayredemption6462 At least among the México fans I know in the US, he’s very well liked by the fans. For me, if I were a player, that’s something to be proud of. Win or lose, he did his best for his country. 👍🏼
I normally don't like expansion but a 16 team Copa America would be great. They can let all 10 CONMEBOL teams in, and then CONCACAF can create a system by which 6 of their teams earn their spots
It completely absurd to put so much heat on Tata Martino. We've had other coaches (most of them Mexican) who produced the same, or marginally better results. It is 100% owners of the league that are the problem.
He didn’t understand why they were playing like that vs Argentina because no one else did too. The only thing we knew is he didn’t want to eliminate Argentina. After you witness the Saudíes taking points from Argentina how did that not motivate you as a coach to tell them we are going for the win these guys are off their game. I don’t see Argentina winning this cup they passed because everyone else in the group played terrible.
Long time coming. Just hope something changes, we have the raw talent at youth level, we just need the right system in order to transfrom our youth projects (Lainez, Macías, etc) into top players. Now we need a manager that understands the mexican style and believes in beatiuful football.
The FMF are basically obsessed with making money over footballing development right. As long as Mexican fans continue to travel in huge numbers to World and Gold Cups, they continue to fill large stadiums in the US for rinse and repeat friendlies against the likes of Ecuador and Paraguay, the Mexican shirts continue to sell well (Adidas confirmed that it is one of their best selling ones), and the sponsorship deals flourish, they are happy. The contrast between an ever-increasing number of US players joining clubs in top 4 / 5 European leagues, compared to the lack of Mexican players getting regular minutes in Europe, is very stark.
What Mexico needs to do remove every person that is in the federation. Starting with their president. Not allowing the sponsors and owners of the clubs to decide what to do with the national team. And allow to build and grow with young talent and not continue to call out the old rusty players that aren’t really good and hurt the structure of what you want to achieve .. but I will blame the Mexico fans for supporting them buying their jerseys and products and with that said, you keep putting money in the pockets of the people who don’t really care about the national team instead of profits. The Mexican national team is only a business. Simple as that.
to quote Rafa Marquez - you have to play in Europe where the good football is. Any side outside of Europe needs to have players in the elite leagues to improve. Japan had 7 players in the Bundesliga. Korea is the same with overseas players. Brazil only has 3-4 players who play in Brazil. Morocco and Tunisia are basically France 2.0. Mexico cannot depend on Liga MX or even the MLS to build talent. They need the likes of Hugo Sanchez at Real Madrid. They need Chicharito or Carlos Vela types playing in England, Spain, Germany, Italy or France. Even the Dutch Eredivise, the Danish Superlig or the Swedish league or Turkish Superliga would be a learning experience. Mexico cannot play the same old team who are maybe sentimental favorites, but not the best XI the country can produce.
These Mexican teams don’t send their players to Europe because European teams will pay them low amounts ($1-7 million), whereas, teams within the Mexican league will pay $10+ million for these same players.
This is absolutely false. 100% wrong. It's TOTALLY rare to have a Mexican league player make more than $5M USD. In fact, I'm pretty sure the highest paid player in the Mexican top league makes less than $3M. They probably get paid more in the US. I would be curious if you know who the highest paid player in Mexico is now. It's probably some has-been like when they over-paid Blanco at Club America.
...don't "send" their players? LOL...nice try... Didn't Ochoa get released from his club in Europe...and Dos Santos even got released from MLS? Brother from the South, we CONCACAF folks have problems with getting our players to Europe and it ain't because we won't send them.
Mexican football is broken from top to bottom. The domestic league pays their native talent ridiculous amounts of money so they won't go to Europe to improve since the paycheck is 5 times bigger in Liga MX. The league adopted the MLS model where there's no promotion/relegation, so there's no incentive for the smaller clubs to develop young talent. The yet the US eclipse them so now if a player has dual nationality, playing for Mexico now looks like the LESS attractive option. The politics around the sport dictate the squad, not talent or scheme fit. And for the last decade, there's been an acceptance of mediocrity. Qualifying for the world cup and playing the US even in the Gold Cup is enough. Hopefully this failure causes that attitude to change and there can be an overhaul of the entire system like Germany had after their relative failures in the 90s that led to 4 straight Semifinals and their first world cup in 24 years
Did really well with Paraguay. Qualified impressively for the 2010 World Cup finishing just a point behind Brazil who topped CONMEBOL. Then took Paraguay to the World Cup quarter finals (their best ever World Cup) and got them to the Copa America final in 2011. Obviously a long time ago though.
Mexico has really good players like Diego Lainez, Luis Chavez, Edson Alvarez, Hirving Lozano, Henry Martin, and even Orbelin Pineda. Most of their great players are in Europe but also they have really good players in the MX as well. Also there were players who didn't deserve to be in the WC list like Raul Jimenez, Andres Guardado, Hector Herrera, Nestor Araujo, and even Gallardo. They have the talents, but they're not pushing to their potential
None of our players in Mexico were good enough Alexis Vega proved that and I’m a die hard chivas fan…and andres most definitely deserved to be there, him and memo more than anyone tbh
Yes Memo Ochoa, FMF should start from scratch and reevaluate how a players worth is measured by skill amd consistency rather than focus on popularity and money.
The organization stuff is all pretty true but painting Memo as the villain for speaking seems like the worst thing you can do, especially when you immediately critique him for not speaking up earlier. Not to mention he's been one of the few players that took risks in Europe trying to better himself and got screwed over. Can't really blame him for wanting his financial future to be stable after that.
ITS SIMPLE . PEOPLE NEED TO STOP IGNORING THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM. CORRUPTION RUNS FROM THE GOVERNMENT ALL THE WAY TO THE BEAUTIFUL SPORT OF FOOTBALL. MONEY MATTERS MORE TO THEM THAN ACTUALLY PRODUCING TALENT AND WINNING TOURNAMENTS .
I hear this argument but look at it objectively player by player Argentina is just better. All of AG play in Europe while MX has 1-2 and the best player is a role player in Napoli… MX best hope was to tie 0-0 in that game (MX has a horrible all time record against AG, even when the MX team had better players than they do today).. I saw that AG game and they have the opposite problem that the USA have, they don’t share the ball… look at the last game where chucky wanted to do all the free kicks in the end when the other player that scored the free kick goal was on the money that game…
I don't think it's coach at this level. We don't need good players, we need GREAT players. It's above coach and it's the leagues they play, management, and SCOUTING. It's always the few and great players that take the team to the finals.
Mexico’s reliance on the same Mexican players has a negative impact on the youth development for the national team. How many u17 WC finals have we been too? After that, how many of those youngsters had a shot at the senior team? Literally none, and instead of just releasing them to a European team, they keep the players in the second division until they can potentially make a profit. More so, these liga MX teams are delusional in asking for millions for their players when they haven’t proven themselves. Statistically, Mexican players are as good as Brazilians. It’s just that you have just under 100 Brazilians in the top 5 leagues in the world with like 300 in other leagues European leagues plus more in second divisions. It’s appears they’re better so of course European teams would pay more money to a Brazilian team for potential youth. I whole heartedly believe Mexico has one of the best youth systems in the world as proven by their success in the youth competitions. But they’re greed is holding them back from being World Cup competitors
I think Memo still looks quality for El Tri and he can still show himself to be capable of playing in the 2026 World Cup and he should be allowed to get the opportunity to play in it, especially considering Mexico are co-hosts, but he obviously should have to deal with competition for the spot from a bunch of younger keepers. Mexico need to finally see if guys like David Ochoa are for real for their future. Give Memo Ochoa the Nations League and give David Ochoa the Gold Cup. Fix the system of Liga MX, get your young players to Europe and get a coach who will come out with passion and quality tactics. I'm an American, and not even a Mexican-American, and I hate on El Tri often cause of things like throwing cups and the p-word chant and more, but I have friends who are El Tri fans and I did root for them to do well in this World Cup. I want the 3-sided rivalry including Canada to be as good as it possibly can be and that means having all 3 nations be as good as they can be. Fix yourselves and get back on track for 2026, Mexico.
For the love of God... I hope they don't bring memo back.. he was great .. and he saved Mexico many times... But it's time... Hh guardado memo Jiménez... They have to go Allready... Age will always hit you
He plays for Club America and came through their academy so this doesn’t surprise me one bit. He’s a Televisa puppet through and through. Only had one good run in 2014 and his club career has been forgettable
When you’re attempting to pluck Mexican/American players from the U.S. for your National team there’s a problem with your infrastructure. I hope Mexico can get it right or it can be a decade of futility.
I don’t think just sending players to Europe is the answer. When Argentinian and Brazilian players go to Europe, they’re already good. Just being in Europe doesn’t magically make you better. The real problem is the coach not maximizing the talent he had at his disposal. Mexico never played to win against Poland or Argentina and that’s why they’re out.
True, but the problem in the Mexican system is that owners refuse to sell youth players on the cheap to European teams so they can develop in a big league at an young age instead of their late 20s in small European leagues. So many youth players have fallen off the radar just because they stayed too long in Mexico. The way the US have done things since 2018 should be the example the Mexican federation should look into.
The reason why argentina and brazilian players are already good when they go to europe is cuz they play in multiple international tournaments in south america at the highest level. If liga mx teams come back to compete in libertadores o copa sudamericana they will indeed get better. and most importantly mx players would get noticed by European teams , you said just by being in europe doesn’t magically get you better but it forces you to be better and thats why the more players we have in europe will indeed make mexico much stronger and competitive.
@@that10speed5oh But European teams only want you if you’re already good, no? 🤔 I agree about competing in more meaningful games and not just friendly matches in the US
Mexico has no talent lol i havent seen it. As an argentinan American ive traveled to Mexico in many football acadmies and so on as i used to be a serious football player whe i was a young man. I played in mexico as i loved the atmosphere more but being honest mexico has no great talent or prospects ive played with many and not one did i see stand out to me. None. Even now the best player in mexico is chucky lozano??? And hes not even that great. Mexico need to work harder this isnt a federation issue its a work ehtic culture
Definitely a conflict between sports and business, Copa Libertadores and Copa America will be a better development competitions for MX clubs and playing MLS teams are better business proposition. If MLS and MX teams played in Copa America and Copa Libertadores then that would work
The first change that mexican federation have to do is not keep playing Ochoa, Ochoa has been never the Best goalkeeper in México never, Chuy corona still now is to much better than Ochoa.
Rafael Marquez, cuatemoc blanco, el matador…is all about mentality. Blanco said it himself, he felt every match like going to war. Didn’t care if you were German, English, etc. he was going to and got in the field and delivered. Was send twice to second division for his age and still somehow made it back to the first division🤣🤣. At 35 he went on loan to Spain and the only game he played, he scored against Madrid. I believe he even won the golden shoe or whatever they call it in the end of the WC2010. Chicharito, vela and company ruined the next generation. The divas made it about clout rather than talent.
Can’t happen. Mexico cannot send their A team because clubs are not required to release their players because they would be not be participating in their own federation. What is the incentive to invite Mexico to Conmebol if they would devalue the quality? What’s the incentive and interest accepting C teams? The only way is to join Conmebol but highly unlikely because why would they let us join if Concacaf would also bring their teams such as Curacao, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago. No easy solution
In D biggest of stage, does D final objective change??? NO & yet the primadonas had No idea what to do. Tata wasn't an ideal DT but he was hired he became useless & the FMF kept him. The Result to me was Not a surprise the whining IS. Fans haven't yet started saying " Pero por lo Menos juimos"
Overreaction Mexico will win it all in 2026, the Youth Level I've been winning a lot of recent championships will be old enough to compete in 2026. Plus in north America.
The Mexicans need to realize they aren't as good as the South Americans and Europeans - Biggest hype fans. They're are only as good as their competition, the CONCACAF competition that is.
It might seem stupid but where i see their is a problem whit the Mexican federation how come Mexican league is not in FIFA the best football game available a game played by so many kids in Mexico and Mexican in America like already you see they only think about money from not having a contract whit EA , nowadays young players wants to perform on the pitch to have better notes on FIFA crazy as it sounds it’s a reality !!
People keep saying mexico has talent. Yeah to play the game, but not to win the championship talent. Mexico does not have championship talent, average talented team and average isn't enough. Don't see it changing for a while.
I think mexico federation needs to understand they are not that good as they think. They don't produce good players. Curently the only revelant players are lozano and guardado. The rest are unknown. They neednto export more players internationally and triumph. Last I saw a good player was rafa marquez.
